It's been a while since I've been spooked this much. This is definitely a great horror novel! While other horror stories tend to lose their scare factor after a few chapters, this one takes hold of your interest and keeps you wrapped in that lingering sense of creepiness and fear. ReviewThis concept of a minion system is really fresh and the progression of this system isn't too fast or too slow. It's the perfect pace to be satisfying yet not overwhelming.One of my favourite aspect of the novel so far are the vivid character backstories, instead of just having the character say their past, the author shows their past in a flashback which is really cool.It is a really engaging novel and the grammar is basically perfect with hardly any errors.If you're looking for something new to read this is it!
The storyline of this book is quite interesting. It contains a lot of impressive elements. The twist and turns make you lost in the tale.....the more you read the more enjoyable it gets.Roan's characters are unique and intriguing...I'm surely live to read more about him Good luck author
Okay, I opened this book thinking just another book, but i was thrilled to see a fresh and different storyline and world building. Do we talk about the author’s play with words? Perfect! Description is top notch and breathes intelligence. I have no words really cause this book is good, very good. Kudos to you and more grease to your elbow.
Great novel, my only complaint is that sometimes it can get confusing. For example, I can't even tell what the unnamed skill does, at first I thought it was like full counter but then mc was hurt, so not full counter, so maybe half counter, but then somehow it made the queen stronger which confuses me because she was hurt by it, etc. Or why mc would use something on her that makes her stronger. Idk the entire goblin queen arc was extremely confusing, however the rest of the novel is great
