Haven't read but the synopsis is intriguing but is the summoner really a woman? Not really against it but based on the type of stories I've seen and the fact this is Chinese the woman might turn into the love interest real quick who the protagonist simps so much I hope my assumptions are incorrect though and that this would turn out quite good
After an...unintentionally long hiatus from wn, I decided to come back to some nice PancakesWitch novels. I was sad to see that some were already completed, but then I saw that there were new stories and I was overjoyed.I started reading this one and I immediately knew that it would be my kind of story. If you're picking this book. Do know that there is a lot of show-not-tell moment. Keep in mind, if the protagonist is talking to something, someone, or himself, he will, and always put on a smile.This detail is rarely mentioned by him narrating it, but the cues throughout the story hinted it, and the people around him will sometimes mention it in their dialog.That took me a moment to notice on first few chapters. Hope this will elevate the experience of whoever as clueless as I do at first read. If not, it is a fun detail to mention imo.Basically, the mc is one smug little basta-

It's already being translated under the name of God of Life but the translation isn't the best.
This story is different from most others on the site, a really open and intriguing romance. Everything is beautifully placed and it's a very comforting read. Although the author can improve the language for less confusion in reading some parts. Overall, a beautiful book with a lot of potential!

Great thing about it is I could remember more and more as i kept reading. As for my original review I can't remember where exactly that happened but I continued from chapter 90 or so and it's not bad at all, updated the review from 3 to 3.6
