The clear mid court line
Let's talk about dialogue because this book has some of the sharpest, most distinctive character voices I've encountered and I need to unpack why it works so well. Xu Huai'an speaks maybe five words at a time and each one lands like a punch. "Let's go." "Nothing." "Rabbits are timid. You're too ugly, you scared it off." These are not just lines—they are character. Every time he speaks, it's measured, detached, almost bored. But the subtext is always screaming. When he says "Ha" after seeing Xie Wenxing's sweaty neck, it's not laughter. It's amusement. It's possession. It's the sound of a boy who has just discovered something he wants to keep. Compare that to Zhou Yuan's voice and you immediately understand why these two are friends despite being completely different. Zhou Yuan is all energy and noise—"Damn, where the hell is this rabbit? Seriously, you have to call me next time." He's the golden retriever of dialogue, all tail-wagging enthusiasm. Xu Huai'an is the cat that occasionally lets you pet it. And Xie Wenxing's internal monologue is where the real comedy lives. The way he narrates his own disasters—"I failed before I even got started! How am I supposed to become friends with Xu Huai'an now?!"—this is not just humor, this is character building. You understand everything about him through his thoughts: his anxiety, his self-deprecation, his desperate hope, his complete inability to hide anything even when he tries. The narrative voice itself is also worth praising. It stays close to Xie Wenxing's perspective but occasionally pulls back just enough to let us see what Xu Huai'an is really doing—spinning his pen, watching him, texting about him. This creates this incredible dramatic irony where the reader knows more than Xie Wenxing realizes, and it makes every interaction feel double-layered.
"Like I promised, will you marry me?" He said weakly, "When I am better?"
"But he promised, and he made it sound like his could," A defense mage ran towards them.
"Sorry?"
Pero kahit na isa akong dyosa.
"Hmm . . . you're probably right," she mused. "I certainly don't plan for Jasper to be our only client for long. As soon as we file a motion to substitute counsel for Gibson's, people will want to know who we are."
"Still, all around very promising," Euphie said. "Very good work, colonel."
"O" Daniel said dum founded.
Anina bermimpi yang dia sering bertemu dengan seorang lelaki yang kacak rupa parasnya tetapi berambut serabai, kusut masai, kotor dan jijik.
"There seems to be a good weapon and armour vendor in the second level of Melena. How about we go there and spend some of the money the Queen gave us on purchasing better gear? This will especially help Nayasuki." Shirou spoke with his usual monotone voice. This sounded like a good idea. Any benefit I can get my hands on, the better.
I casted a spell to make her fart many time.
