Let me just appreciate the atmosphere in these chapters because the author really knows how to paint a scene that makes you feel trapped. The heat is mentioned repeatedly—'this weather was truly hot enough to claim half a person's life'—and it's not just weather, it's a mood. The oppressive summer heat mirrors the oppressive palace life. Fu Lingxi can't even bathe comfortably because of her 'monthly visitor,' and the spiritual energy is so scarce that her cultivation is stalled. Everything about this world feels suffocating, and that's deliberate. But then there's the garden. 'Outside the veranda, the birds were singing and the flowers were fragrant. In the courtyard, delicate and brilliant flowers were in full bloom. At the corners, rockeries and flowing water created a vivid landscape, with koi swimming through the clear water.' This is such a vivid, almost cinematic description. It's beautiful, but it's also a cage. These flowers and koi and rockeries exist inside palace walls. It's a world that looks perfect from the outside but is actually a gilded trap. And the servants! The way the author describes the hierarchy through small details—Xiuxia bringing a stool, Huichun being sent to the kitchen, Suran and Ziluan working in the secret room recording dowry lists. These tiny moments make the palace feel like a living, breathing organism with its own rules and rhythms. The three-sixteen chests of dowry alone tell you everything about the original owner's mother's love and the weight of karma Fu Lingxi now carries. The worldbuilding here doesn't info-dump. It seeps into you through sensory details and social dynamics. That's how you build a world that feels real.
This is a very well-written story. It starts slow but never breaks my immersion in the first chapters, which led me to read until C13. I'll be back later for the fluff Ezra and Oberyn bring ;) Keep up the great work, Author (*u*)/
Yo, fellow adventurers!I’m Ishan Ambar, the mastermind (and occasional mad scientist) behind Awakening in the World of Gods. If you’re into legendary isekai stories like Mushoku Tensei or The Beginning After the End, then guess what? You just hit the jackpot. ?This isn’t just another “reincarnated genius” story. Oh no, my friends. I’ve thrown in a healthy dose of science, logic, and world-building madness—because why settle for just magic when you can have magic that actually makes sense? If you like the deep lore of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime mixed with some big-brain science energy, then you’re in for a ride. And let’s talk about our boy, Poll Nightvale. He’s not your typical overpowered protagonist—he’s a schemer, an overthinker, and a walking paradox. One moment, he’s pulling off genius-level strategies, and the next, he’s making the dumbest decision of his life. Basically, he’s the kind of character you’ll laugh at, root for, and occasionally yell at through the pages. So, buckle up! This story has chaos, strategy, explosions (probably too many), and a whole lot of unexpected twists. If you enjoy it, spread the word, tell your friends, or even summon a demon and make it read my book (wait… maybe don’t do that).Got questions? Want to discuss theories? Just wanna say hi? Hit me up anytime! Your support fuels this crazy adventure, and I’d love to hear from you!Happy reading, and welcome to the madness!—Ishan Ambar
A fantastic story ...keep it up!Characters are like, can relate to reality.
"A Masterpiece of Fantasy and Emotion"The Fallen Star Angel: A Celestial Redemption is a breathtaking journey through love, loss, and the eternal struggle for redemption. Carla Vilar has woven a tale that is as emotionally resonant as it is fantastically vivid. From the first chapter, readers are drawn into a celestial realm rich with intrigue and beauty, only to be thrust into a mortal world brimming with emotional complexity and danger. The protagonist’s journey is heart-wrenching yet inspiring, and the love triangle with the rival fallen angel adds a layer of depth that keeps you turning the pages. What sets this book apart is its ability to seamlessly blend celestial fantasy with deeply human themes. The rich world-building, combined with moments of action, betrayal, and tender romance, makes it a must-read for fans of fantasy fiction. The climactic battle and the protagonist’s ultimate sacrifice left me in awe. This is a story of hope, redemption, and the transformative power of love that will linger in your heart long after the final page.Carla Vilar has created a masterpiece that deserves a place among the best fantasy novels of the year. If you’re looking for a story that will captivate your imagination and touch your soul, The Fallen Star Angel is the book for you.
Honestly, the story had me hooked. It was well-written and easy to understand, which made me keep reading non-stop. Thumbs up, author! and don't drop this!
A good story with a solid grasp of bees and other insects' workings. There is one arc I enjoyed less than the others, though. It's just a matter of personal preferences and things are getting serious now, so it's already forgotten. Keep up the good job author and I wish you success. :)
This shall be updated when there's 10 chapter and I have read them.
HEHEHEHEHEHEHEH BLAhem anyway. a truly noteworthy piece of literature. Worthy of my time(omgthisbookismakingmeblush)
The author does a nice work on the story it's not getting boring like other simulation novels
I liked how the book is written, each chapter progress the story smoothly. With detailed explanation of the surroundings, the characters and their emotions, you can easily imagine the scenario. I enjoyed ready and definitely worth spending time on. Side that can still be improved: Identify paragraphs that can be separated and lessen filler words for better reading experience. (Like using "Tall and Imposing" in a single sentence. It literally mean the same thing.)
