This is an incredible book; I highly recommend giving it a chance. Avoid reading the comments to discover a true gem without distractions. The main characters come from different backgrounds, not as siblings, but their bond is powerful. A must-read for those interested in stories set in ancient China. I would have loved a deeper exploration of the monk's character from Chapter 1 and perhaps a glimpse into her past life. Regardless, I thoroughly enjoyed the read. ??

Just quit. The first arc is especially awful, but the novel picks up around chapter 200 and it won't really get better if you still don't like it after 1000
It was rank 1 when i first saw this website and beleive me that it was the only thing that convinced me to read all of it. Tbh,i wish i could forget it just to get a chance to read it all over again. Even though it gets repetitive, it's just too much fun to read
