I'm not stalking you author. Just saw this while browsing through your other book. I love the new concept and I thought it would be the sequel to immortal desire
loving it. Vera and Mateo and their interactions are very fun.
This chapter went from highs and you could feel that ask over your neck
OMG one of the BEST books I’ve read on this app. Freaking hilarious with lots of action and romance. I was literally LOL-ing. Like late at night. Laying in my bed. At 2am. Cause I couldn’t stop reading. I’m pretty sure you all know what I mean… could not stop reading!!!
I think this will be a great novel .
The author should plz work hard and upload many chapters daily and not put us on the edge or better still stop it altogether am getting worried and I can nolonger continue coming to check for updates without seeing any
I am loving this book but it showed there is a third book for JT and Sophia but I’m not seeing it on your page. Will you be putting it here to be read? I would really like to have all there stories as they were all the main characters
I'm not crying, you're crying. The pear soup scene. Let me just sit with this for a moment. Zhao Qianqian buys five yuan worth of pears and bananas, eats all the bananas herself, and then serves Zeng Cheng the pear soup saying "I specially made this... it was really expensive—five yuan for just six." She's lying about the price of the soup alone, and he's lying about not wanting it because five yuan is expensive, and they're both performing this little dance of care where neither can just say "I made this because I was worried about you." He drinks it all in one go. In that moment, he truly felt how good it was to be cared for. And she's sitting there thinking: if he leaves it all for me, then my secretly eating the bananas will be embarrassing. This is the most tender thing I have ever read. It's not about grand romantic gestures. It's about a woman who transmigrated into a book and learned to cook leek pies with five eggs, who stays up late making pear soup for a husband who coughs, who buys meat buns and saves them all for him. And it's about a man who comes home covered in sweat and dirt and just wants to hold his wife and nap. The scene where they lie in bed together in the afternoon sunlight—she curls up like a kitten, he says supporting her isn't tiring, and then she coaxes him into another round of marital exercise because "he was her golden thigh to cling to" and she has to make sure he doesn't look at wildflowers. It's hilarious and heartbreaking and so deeply romantic in its own weird, transactional, banana-stealing way.
