Okay so let me just say—this opening is absolutely ruthless. The author doesn't waste a single chapter on setup. We go from 'girl being force-fed poison' to 'girl fighting back with supernatural powers' to 'girl framing her abusers' in what feels like five minutes of reading time. And honestly? I was here for it. The plot structure is basically a three-act story crammed into two chapters. Act one: the poisoning attempt (classic transmigration hook). Act two: the awakening of powers and the physical retaliation. Act three: the cover-up scheme where Lin Xiazhi flips the narrative so the villagers think a thief did it instead of her. What really impressed me was how the author handled the transition from victim to aggressor. In most novels like this, the protagonist just gets stronger and starts beating everyone up with no consequences. But here, Lin Xiazhi is smart enough to know she can't just kill them outright—she needs the contracts, she needs to disappear before the refugee crisis hits, and she needs the villagers on her side or at least neutral. So she stages an entire crime scene. That's not just plot convenience; that's actual strategic thinking. The pacing is what gets me though. Chapter 1 ends with her covering two unconscious people in human waste while the entire village marches toward them like zombies following the scent of meat. And then Chapter 2 opens with her already inside the house smashing furniture and discovering her powers. There's no breathing room, no 'and then nothing happened for three chapters.' The author just keeps the pressure on. One thing I'm curious about: the novel mentions the original owner was malnourished to the point of not even developing physically at sixteen. But Lin Xiazhi's apocalypse survival skills somehow translate to breaking two people's limbs with a body that should barely have enough strength to lift a bowl. I guess the transmigration trope covers a lot of logical gaps, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't roll my eyes a little at that. Still, the plot itself is tight. Every scene pushes the story forward. No filler. No unnecessary side characters wandering in. And the cliffhanger at the end of Chapter 2—Wang Chuntao accusing Lin Xiazhi while the villagers clearly don't believe her—is exactly the kind of tension that makes you immediately open Chapter 3.
Let the world know bout it hehehehe I just love to see him suffer the mc I mean I believe the author as more for us Hehehehehe so don't let the duke down
About this book—it's a harem, as mentioned already, though don't be misled by the title, which definitely hints at the major plot of the book. It's not just mindless farming and plowing; the plots are filled with several elements and have a slight bit of humor too.What are the details about this book?1. It's written in the first-person perspective whenever it’s about the main character, while those outside the main character are portrayed in the third-person perspective.2. It is an amalgamation of humor, plot points that I liked, and a slight twist, along with a mix of instant death ability and the invincibility domain through the marriage concept, which has already been mentioned in several previous books.3. There is no similarity with the plots or power systems except for this small marriage to become invincible concept. The whole story is original and solely written by me from scratch; the plots are unique, except the title, which is more to create an attractive title (the plot is similar too, but the title may sound similar to a few existing books already).4. Reviews from others definitely matter, but considering the scarce amount present on the book, just read the free chapters of this book, as it would hardly take you 5-10 minutes, and neglecting it may feel like a loss.5. The main character has been portrayed in a way where I tried my best to balance humor, his overall personality, and decision-making to create a blend of a slightly humorous but not easygoing main character.6. If at instances you find the chemistry between the characters lacking in some cases, you can speak up. As an author with some experience in this genre, I have tried to make it as balanced as possible, but if it still lacks, you can definitely remind me.7. Be active with your comments. Being frank, I don't like the fact that when I drop a book or lose interest after writing hundreds of chapters, you say why I dropped the book when not a single chapter has any comments.I am a human and just like everyone else, I appreciate compliments for my work. I am trying, and there would be a limit to how consistently I could maintain it.So, if you like it, then just leave TFTC (I am not asking for more), or else don't comment or leave reviews for an author who always drops his books.{If you didn't participate in motivating me, then you don't deserve to criticize me for not keeping up alone.}
it is a great book to read and I'd recommend it to anyone
this world the author has created is intriguing. and I can't wait to see how the story progresses, and meet all the characters.
I’m starting chapter 15 and have already been drawn into this story. Love the story development and all the characters so far. I do hope author continues to the end. How many chapters can we expect? I hope it’s not thousands as most authors can’t keep the pace. Feeling excited and hopeful.
Since I'm my biggest fan of myself, the plot thickens at Chapter 40 ?
Even though it has the fantasy tag, the story feels somewhat closer to a romance novel. Which is fine on its own, but I honestly don't like romance so a heads up would have been appreciated.Still, I found myself dragged into a rather well made story, with decent'y human-like side characters who have their own lives going on in the background, and not just static dialogue-box NPCs like in games or other novels.A good story so far, but too few chapters.
The novel is very interesting, both the way the writer started and the way he end it ,it very good. Thanks for the novel.
The writing per chapter is very long, you can feel the author give so much time to his work. I like it, please upload more chapters.
