First 60 chapters are a treat, the free ones, are nice to read. After that, the quality drop to google translate level, mc name change, capitalization and punctuation are optional, just spend your coins or fast pass somewhere else. (stopped reading at chapter 86)
Unique plot and a very intriguing story with a good start. Looking forward to the development of the story. The character development is looking really interesting with a interesting FL. Good luck, author.
The only reason I'm rating it so highly is because I want this Ln to continue but honestly I would rate it 4.7 it's not really unique in plot but the writing is a comfortable read and doesn't have any brain dead points yet (ch 40). Overall just a nice read with nothing truly unique but no demerits either, still interesting enough that you would enjoy reading it
I'm not good at explaining so I'll just say that it has bad grammar and some other problems, plus I'm not a big fan of how he's starting to turn out so yea
Well, this is a review after I read 84 chapter. What to say about this book? It is promising, the premise is intriguing and also very interesting, sure it's a story about dungeon Master but here we discover a new system more sophisticated. The fact that MC came back from time is also a big plus because he won't stay weak for too long and he's not acting like a noob who doesn't know what to do.Tbh, my feeling are complicated about MC. He is intelligent, cunning and also has the trait of a demon being merciless and treating everyone as tool (not minding their feeling) It's good but also annoying to read. /! Spoiler Alert /!For exemple, when he rode on a worm to find where it rest to steal it's egg, I was rly annoyed by what he did like, this worm saved him from death in his past life but what he did in return now? He mercilessly stole her egg even though he should know the feeling of being betrayed. To me, he's really hypocrite, "Don't do to others what you don't want them to do to you".Well, maybe I'm the only one bothered but I wanted to complain "-"Anyways, MC is pretty skillful but sometimes I feel that he's also making dumb decisions even though he should be aware of some fact since he survived til the end of the game ( I forgot which mistake but I know that it was dumb for someone who experienced the game once).Side character, they have near to zero screen time or importance, they're only here to fulfill their role and that's all. They're bland, no emotion, it's boring seriously if there's only the MC.For exemple we have his first slave, Guo Chen, he should be (in MC first life) one of the six greatest hunter, but here I saw just a emotionless character calling brother here and there, just following his order. We lack seriously some side character dialogue or inner monologue to understand what they feel right now. There's also a sever lack of information about the game, it's purpose/goal, about demon family and so on. I hope someday author explain it to us or will it be unexplained ? idkTo finish, this novel has his strength but also weaknesses. Still it is definitely a hidden gems that is uncovered, let it have it's chance and you may not regret it who know :)
New reader added to the list. This has got everything I can ask for. Great job, don't drop it please. I would love to read every single chapter...Thanks for this masterpiece...
The story was ok, writing quality though there are mistakes it doesn't cause any confusion while reading. My issues are the inconsistencies, the MC says X but then does Y cause it adds more drama, or in one quick arc he destroys three 3* mages like they are paper, and then just a couple chapters later he struggles against one 3* and a 2* mage (because these 2 were the end of the arc boss supposedly he had to struggle). I am a few behind of current, but the story has turned into rabbit hole of side stories, and with the pacing side stories seem to never end (20 chapters for a single auction that is part of a side story that off loads one of the women for awhile). One of my other issues is how fights go, as others have said MC always struggles till he has one move left then pulls it out. However the fights are all Throw attack A see what happens, throw attack B, let enemy regroup, dodge or take a hit, then throw attack C. None of the fights exhibit any coordination with his team, or ability chain attacks. It is always Someone doing one ability everyone stands and waits to see if it works before doing anything else. As a team they have so many combinations they could use, but none of them are used. Author is hinting about a Tournament Arc that MC is gung ho about, but still keeps saying he wants to stay low key... All in all the story for me just lost it's hook for me to continue and it started at the Sect Arc and has just eroded.
It ok if your new to the genre but i have seen all the story plots the author uses,Few new unfortunately, The power gain system seems unique And world building is a strong point but the arcs I have definitely “been through before” (all in all, if get me out of my own reality I’d say it did the job fine) - Poorly educated American
Overall, it's a pretty good take on a system cultivation novel that's very interesting with a likeable main character. The MC is a genius prince who, after being killed, returns to the past with memories intact, and he gains a cultivation support system to help him change his fate. He's capable of learning from past mistakes and using the information he brought back from the future to achieve his goals as well as his revenge on those who took part in killing him. Also, since he's written as an anti-hero, or you could say cunning/ruthless, he is capable of making decisions without being overly concerned about people and things that have nothing to do with achieving his goals. Also, he's not the type of character to simply return kindness that was given to him. In fact, he seems slightly cynical and distrusting towards others, believing they have their own motives and plans behind their actions. Which is understandable considering his position as a prince and his experiences from his past. The main things that can be considered an issue would be lack of supporting characters for now, since the MC is currently too weak to let his intentions to be known and his general distrust toward others. It would be great to see him gain some loyal friends or subordinates in the future. However this can also be considered a boon if you don't like stories where the MC simply gains loyal followers by just walking around.Another negative would be that the world setting isn't explained enough. For example, there were mentions of different levels of spiritual energy within the world, but there is no mention about the difference between them and how it effects the power scaling of the world. For example, the MC is currently in a place with a lower concentration of spiritual qi, but there is no mention about how strong the cultivators are in this area in comparison to the MC's current strength. It also doesn't explain the cultivation realms very well. Currently, all we know is that the first major realm is Qi-Refining then Qi-Stabilization. It's also inferred that there are 10 stages within each realm, seeing how the MC broke through to Qi-Stabilization realm from level 9 of Qi-Refining realm. However there isn't any mention of the sequence that comes after Qi-Stabilization. There is mention of Half-saints and saints but that should be a much higher realm than the current MC. I feel like there should be an explanation even if it ends up turning a chapter into an info dump.
i highly enjoyed reading this novel, didnt find anything that made me feel troubled. shame it was not continued since months.and shame i had to write this sentence just so i had enough letters to post that review.
