Takashi took her hand and squeezed it as the girl blushed.
"Baik aku akan segera kesana. Terima kasih sudah memberitahu". Gladys yang terus diperhatikan memalingkan pandangannya ke arah komputer dan berpura-pura mengetik sesuatu, hingga Tommy berlalu dari pandangannya.

And they spent the whole month, killing zombies and cleaning the city, until hundreds of thousands were killed, and they recovered much of the city and set up a base.

But before he left, he made Seikyo stay and overlook Yoruichi as he clearly remembered this scene from the anime. Fortunately for Itsuki, their seemed to be some changes as Yoruichi didn't just reveal her human form blatantly in front of Ichigo but did it behind a screen of some sort.
Sighing, Spencer got out of bed to check his phone. It was probably Mike or Jorge. They had mentioned hanging out over break, but it was already Saturday and so far nobody made any moves to set anything up for the last two days of break.

"What the f*ck"
The dialogue in these chapters is absolutely delicious. Yan Xiao's line "Does he come to bother Qinqin often?" followed by "Good. From now on, he won't be bothering Qinqin again" is one of the most casually threatening things I've ever read. He says it like he's discussing the weather, not planning assault. And Wen Qinghe's internal monologue? "Is this a Versailles moment? Twelve thousand, and he says it's not much?" The modern references she drops in her head while living in this era — it's funny, it's relatable, and it gives us such a clear window into her actual personality versus how she presents herself. The narrator's voice is also doing a lot of work here. Lines like "No man could resist when the girl he loved clung tightly around his waist like that" and "like a big dog desperately needing his master's comfort" — these are the kind of observations that make you laugh out loud. The author knows exactly what they're writing and isn't afraid to be a little dramatic about it. Fang Min's dialogue when he wakes up half-naked and screaming "I... am... an educated youth..." is also peak comedy. The villagers' reactions — calling him scrawny, saying he doesn't even have two taels of meat on him — the crowd is roasting him while he's having the worst morning of his life. I couldn't stop reading.
