In a world where shadows hold more power than governments, Agent X is the deadliest weapon ever created. Genetically enhanced and trained from childhood, he is the perfect assassin—silent, precise, and untraceable. Working under the clandestine organization Echelon, Agent X executes high-profile targets with surgical efficiency, never questioning his orders.

But when a mission goes wrong and secrets about his past begin to surface, X uncovers a chilling truth: he was never meant to survive. Betrayed by the very organization that created him, he becomes their most wanted target. Now a rogue agent on the run, X must outsmart his former handlers, expose the conspiracy behind his existence, and decide who he truly is—a weapon of destruction or a man seeking redemption.

With government agencies, mercenary killers, and Echelon’s elite enforcers hunting him down, Agent X must rely on his skills, instincts, and a few unlikely allies to bring down the system that built him… before it erases him forever.

This book is actually good, but a translation team that has more than 1 person proves idiocy. Bad QC, slow translation, updates on frequent delays. If it's free, I wouldn't be complaining. But I've been paying soulstones, and now an Elite, the translators isn't putting the effort with plenty of empty promises. Where is that report button or the vote for a new team to takeover the project?

This story sat untouched in my library for a week before I actually read it. It was only when I had no more road to go that I chose this. To gather enough will to read it, I even told myself that for many interesting synopsis, the only part interesting was the synopsis and I had learned the lesson the hard way. But boy I was in for a world of surprises the instant I begin my journey. How many chapters was this then. I read through all in one go, sacrificing a lot of sleep time.I won't say anything detailed about the story and intrude on others' fun. Well it basically about how Danika enjoys her game and equally, her life. Here the balance about game and life is done really well I think. And our author is a generous one. At least a chapter is released at the same time every day. Sometimes there is an extra chapter at night around the same hour. So no need to worry about withdrawal symptoms. Just go ahead and read boldly. Well besides the main story, the side stories will show you about the trivial matters about the characters' detailed thoughts not present in the main story and how extra characters see and feel.

both the plot and characters are bland. Author has given protagonist zero unique features. Protagonist is totally bland just like plain water. You won't find him memorable at all. Meng Hao is memorable for his money grabbing skills. Bai Xiaochun for his shameless narcissistic personality. But Han Li has nothing for us to remember him about. He feels like a robot with a mission: just focusing on immortality without enjoying life. What's the use of power if you don't even enjoy your life? The plot is nothing better: Cultivating for decades/centuries in cave, zero interest in female/friends, zero interest in enjoying life, zero interest in everything except inmortality, few adventures in which protagonist most of times is forced to do others' bid. That's the plot for you. Just what is enjoyable in the story then? Sadly nothing.
