The train compartment becomes a microcosm of 1980s China, and the author paints it with remarkable specificity. I can smell the steamed buns, feel the cold hard bun Lin Qiao'er pulls from her bag, see the patches on her clothes and the “faint glimpse of pale toes through her black cloth shoes.” The worldbuilding works on multiple levels. The social hierarchy is visible in who can afford beef jerky (Wen Shuwan) versus who survives on cold steamed buns. The two girls who board at the next stop are described like fashion plates—“f floral-patterned blouse with a cinched waistline,” “flared jeans,” “shiny hair clip”—while Lin Qiao'er wears patched clothes and cloth shoes. This visual contrast does more work than any exposition could. The train itself feels alive: the sleeper carriage, the thermos, the bedding, the narrow space where personal boundaries are constantly tested. When the girls splash water on Lin Qiao'er's bed, the wet patch becomes a symbol of violated space, of a world that won't let her rest. I also appreciate how the author builds atmosphere through small details—the “sharp knock on the head” from Zhao Moting, the way Zhao Chufeng “puffed out his chest” like a peacock. The setting isn't just backdrop; it's an active force shaping every interaction. The train becomes a liminal space where class, gender, and survival intersect.
its quite good one .. lets see how it progresses
Very, very nice and captivating IReally love this,I really love each characters n chapters I highly recommend this .I think this deserves more engagement
Your novel has potential, though there are only 3 chapters for now, I hope you can upload more soon, I would definitely recommend it to anyone.....
First book, so it's gonna suck. The premise is cliche because I wanted to get used to writing (cope) and focus more on characters. Though a harem, i don't want girls hurling themselves at the MC so you can expect a little development. Probably.
the moment i saw the title i started crying im not joking it was my dream to read something like this
Hmm dek could have been better he is like every duo serious guy out there and crash is like the hot headed one frrr still story seems fresh as if avatars meets tech cadets n shi story is pretty well structured
Looking to see more grate things for this book ^^ please keep up guud work
You might love Mc, but my favorite is Baku.In my country Baku is spiritual monster, rumors say it exist, and there is proof.Anyways, I like the character design, and why is the system so cocky
The chapters are getting interesting and I am loving it so far. ???
Goblins? I’m in, I myself have been writing a goblin book. I wanted to write one with utter dark, late romance, antihero mc, various races, rise to the top while changing the state of the village being the chief. So any goblin novels will be loved to the core. I am a big fan of Re monster, slime reincarnated and goblin slayer where they evolve but retaining some savagery like Vikings warriors with a sexual drive. I will do a better review after reading properly
Good spin on summoning! There are some kliche moments, but so far it's enjoyable! I'll come back to it when there's more
