Okay I need to talk about this ending because MY HEART IS ACTUALLY SHATTERED. The way Sang Nian breaks through that barrier—crash—like the whole dreamscape shatters when she finally reaches him—and she doesn't call him 'Undying' or anything, she calls him XIE CHENZHOU. His real name. The one he hasn't heard anyone use in seven years of hell. And that final line 'I'm' just cuts off mid-sentence and I am NOT OKAY. What was she going to say?? I need the next chapter immediately. But honestly the most devastating part isn't even the climax—it's the quiet moments. Like when little Xie Chenzhou is just whispering 'I'm not a monster' after the kids throw rocks at him and his wound heals in front of their terrified eyes. He's six years old and he's already learned to just... dust himself off and keep walking. That's not a child, that's a ghost wearing a child's skin. And Sang Nian watching all of this from behind the barrier, dry-heaving, unable to touch him, unable to do anything except scream his name—that's the kind of helplessness that makes you want to shake the author. She's literally the only person who sees him as a person, not a monster, not a commodity, not 'Undying,' and she can't even reach him until he's being stabbed in the chest for the dozenth time. The emotional weight of that is just... god. I'm still not over it.
I need to talk about Huo Tingchen because this man is EVERYTHING. Let's be real—most male leads in these kinds of stories would either be cold and aloof or overly aggressive. But Huo Tingchen? He walks in, recognizes her, and instead of making it weird or awkward, he handles it with genuine respect and honesty. The study scene where he tells Commander Qin he wants to take care of her? That wasn't performative. You could tell he meant it. And then the hair clip moment—HE KEPT HER HAIR CLIP. That's not something a casual fling guy does. That's someone who was genuinely affected by that encounter. But what really sold me was his explanation about the tea mountain. He didn't make excuses. He didn't try to spin it. He just laid it out: someone drugged him, he lost control, he felt responsible, he searched for her afterward. No manipulation, no gaslighting. Just straight-up honesty. And Qin Ruan's response? Her question—"which came first, responsibility or liking me?"—is such a sharp, smart thing to ask. She's not just accepting his apology; she's testing whether his feelings are real. And his answer? "It was because the person was YOU that I wanted to take responsibility." Okay, I'm not crying, you're crying. Their dynamic is so much healthier than typical romance novels. He doesn't pressure her. When she says they should take it one step at a time, he just... agrees. No pushback. No entitlement. He gives her his number, salutes like a soldier, and leaves her space. That's rare AF in this genre.
The narrative structure here is absolutely brutal in the best way. Let me trace the arc: we open with Lin Rende shouting threats about cutting family ties, and by the end, Lin Daheng is the one delivering the final blow. The roles have completely reversed. What's fascinating is that the text reminds us: "Their hearts had already turned cold once two years ago. This time... The knife was simply driven in deeper." This isn't a sudden rupture— it's the culmination of two years of accumulated betrayal, and the author makes it clear that Lin Daheng and Wang Fenglan have been preparing for this moment. The plot threads converge so satisfyingly. Teacher Yang's arrival and ultimatum creates a three-way fracture: Yang Wen is caught between his mother and Lin Ni, Lin Rende is forced to choose between his biological son and his adopted grandson's family, and Lin Zhaoyang is caught in the crossfire but refuses to be a pawn. The subplot of Lin Rongzong's late arrival— he was working, he complains about being called away, he assumes this is about the wedding— is a brilliant touch. It shows how detached he is from the emotional core of the family while simultaneously being one of its chief architects of suffering. And the ending of this section? Lin Daheng declaring he'll move out that afternoon and formally cut ties at the neighborhood committee. The plot doesn't resolve here— it detonates. The question hanging over everything is: what happens next? Can Lin Zhaoyang rebuild? Will Yang Wen realize what he's lost? Is Teacher Yang's generosity actually a form of control? The author has set up a narrative earthquake and I am HERE for the aftershocks.
I'm here. Coz they are here. We are here together. We are one. Ohhhhhhhh~ we are one... ❤️❤️❤️.................Thank you and God bless us all!

This is so cool, I can imagine a really great urban fantasy genre being portrayed in each of your narratives, Your writing is also very neat, the storyline is very interesting and makes me curious about the continuation of the main character who is at the lowest level, keep fighting!!! This story has great potential.
I need more characters omg! This is the most interesting book I have read in a while. The characters are so realistic and the romantic tension keeps me on my toes
It's really soo good and I'm in love with the lead ? ?.
i lke the story, recommended sya sakin ng friend koo
It's really unfortunate for the main character, but I'll be honest, your writing is really neat, and everything written is easy to read and understand, not messy. And the plot is also quite impressive,I will wait for the next chapters.
I thought it was great. Actually, I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! It's just the beginning, I know, but the author does an excellent job with visualization. Plus, the story itself is intriguing. Please, Author, give us longer chapters. That's all I ask.
I will try to draw some structured map view so that readers could better follow the story. Everything would be arranged in order, so go to the oldest for the earliest map which you will find below this review.
