The narrative is rather lighthearted, and I comprehend how it appeals to many readers. However, let me be honest, I lost interest around Chapter 70. Here's a breakdown of its pros and cons:
Pros:
1. A captivating premise with exhilarating action sequences.
2. A charming and competent female lead (FL) that adds a fresh touch.
3. A well-developed male lead (ML) without unnecessary drama.
4. The side characters and occasional mini-episodes bring humor.
5. The absence of overly dramatic or melodramatic elements.
Cons:
1. The university setting seems underutilized; the FL is hardly ever seen attending classes.
2. Numerous characters appear and disappear without significant impact on the plot; cutting the number in half wouldn't hurt.
3. The FL's unique constitution allows for intimate interactions with the ML, which feels like an overpowered plot device.
4. I was hoping for a more fleshed-out subplot about the FL's long-lost daughter raised in the mountains and entering high society, but it remains underdeveloped.
In summary, while there are enjoyable aspects, certain elements could have been improved for a more cohesive story.
"The Prison Guards Only Knew That I Escaped After Reading My Novel" is a thought-provoking tale that cleverly subverts expectations and invites readers to ponder the power of storytelling. At its core, the story revolves around an incarcerated protagonist who uses their creative prowess to not only entertain but also outsmart their captors. By crafting a gripping narrative within the confines of their cell, the main character weaves a compelling tapestry that serves as both a form of self-expression and a subtle escape plan.
The novel's title itself is a testament to the protagonist's ingenuity – it highlights the irony of how the guards come to realize their prisoner's freedom through the written word. It challenges the conventional notions of confinement, suggesting that even within the darkest of circumstances, the human spirit can find a way to break free, both physically and metaphorically.
Through this character's journey, the author explores themes of resilience, hope, and the transformative power of art. The novel invites readers to question the boundaries between reality and imagination, and the role literature plays in shaping our perceptions of the world. Ultimately, "The Prison Guards Only Knew That I Escaped After Reading My Novel" is a heartwarming yet profound reminder of the indomitable human capacity to create, connect, and triumph over adversity.

Umm I am sorry but I don't know what that means. Edit: never mind. Thanks I will try it out right now.
do you still want the answer haha
I enjoy reading weak to strong characters but having them stay with the same mindset from since the beginning of the story (Keeps underestimating themselves or whatever) completely ruins it. I can’t handle that for the whole half of the book.
Is there bro in this novel or only h oe fellow cultivators
I HATE THE ENDING! I know that feelings cannot be forced, but why it had to be Ji Bunwang? I cannot read all of the chapter because I suddenly curious whether Shao Qihai and Mu Jingzhe would truly divorced or not, so I try to look for spoiler. And damn! They truly get dovorced with shared custody! And she ended loving Ji Bunwang. But no! That is not all, in the end they couldn't get married because.......Ji Bunwang DIED! FREAKING DIED! I CANNOT EVEN!I do understand that life could end like this, but still, it is upsetting of how the children kinda traping Shao Qihao and Mu Jingzhe to divorce, how Mu Jingzhe choose Ji Bunwang, and how it ended. I don't freaking care about the side story that they meet again in the future whatsover, because that is that, a side story
