I can't wait to watch all of Jack Graham's One Sided Murder Scenes and Romance. The MC seems to have this Cold, but Quirky side to him. He likes teasing, making fun of people either straight out, but also subtly. Especially that little arrogant brat of an Elf and her fun-sized superiority.

This is definitely a good novel and I greatly enjoyed the adventure and evolution through the whole book.The only regret I have is the bad ending, I mean seriously, this is one of the worse ending I have ever read and seen...However, at least it has an ending.. So there is at least that....
Very enjoyable to read. I don't understand why people trash talked it. It's a clean 'almost' harem without the gushing romance or excess pervertedness. It's comedic with purpose & (prompted) direction.I hope that it will eventually be picked back up to continue translating. I would happily drop coins on this story.

That's a surgical strike. Meng Yanchen doesn't yell. He doesn't raise his voice. He just... dismantles her. And the way Xu Qin responds—"In your heart, am I only ever here to ask for money—or favors?"—oh, that's the thing, isn't it? She's not wrong. She's just not ready to admit it. But the real masterpiece is the Fan Shengmei scene. Watch how their voices clash: "What's the problem?" His tone cooled further. vs. "There's nothing. I shouldn't have meddled. Pretend I was never here." She's trying to leave on her own terms, and he's so stubborn he can't let her. The subtext in every line is screaming. When he says "I have something else" to Shi Yan while looking at Fan Shengmei? That's not a phone call—that's a power move. He's choosing, and he's doing it in front of her. And the minor characters? Qin Yu's "I'm not blind" and "I'm not deaf"—these tiny lines that repeat? They're hilarious and heartbreaking at the same time. This man has been standing there witnessing everything and can't intervene. The bar scene with Leaf quietly pulling out her phone, seeing her unanswered message from three days ago? No dialogue needed. Just that one image and I was devastated. The author's voice is sharp, economical, and absolutely ruthless with emotional precision.
