Qin Ya had a breakdown, fled abroad, wanted a divorce, smashed her phone—all because their relationship had deteriorated to the EXTREMES. And now he's playing house with her while she can't even remember why she ran. The dramatic irony is suffocating. Every sweet moment is undercut by the fact that she once begged him to let her go. And that ending—her memories starting to return after the wine. Shi Jianchuan literally calls Tan Xiu saying "I can't keep pretending anymore." What is he pretending? That he's just some caring husband? That his obsession isn't actually control? The plot is building this pressure cooker and I am literally shaking.

I really didn’t think I would end up enjoying this book as much I have. Of course some chapters will frustrate you, but it’s very interesting. And I like the fact it’s not predictable. Female is slowly getting her character development. Great work author! I can’t wait!
The story's nice and tension between Alaric and Myra is what I like most. The push and pull between them is. Hope Alaric's character development turns out well. And also with Elio and Myra, it give me butterflies.
