I don't mind the r-18 but in a balled way where the only thing that is good is not just the r-18 part the the plot as while
Ok here is another update ( currently half done )
Mc is still dumb with just a little character development and the only reason I'm still reading this is because of world because of world building it's amazing ?? and also side characters. Although some are just stupidly created but some have amazing story with them and a lot of character development was put into them ( if not for these side characters i would have already dropped it )
.
Now for harem I'm not gonna talk about it i have already lost interest in that part it was so badly created ( half of his partners are there because they sold their body to MC for some reasons) some are still ok and have a little development but overall it's feel author forcefully made this harem thing
.
You guys can read it but a warning that don't think too much since the amount of mistakes in it is just concerning. Everything changes with chapter you read something in a chapter but after 10 or 20 chapter it will become completely different
Thoroughly enjoyed the first 600 or so chaps (first major arc). The teacher trying to bring his powerful wayward students under control was well written, though mc depends way too much on system items. I think the end of that arc was a good place to stop, because after that I gradually lost interest. It's just generic fighting more powerful new enemies, DBZ cr*p. The students who were very independent have just been relegated to side characters who the MC is hard carrying now, and it doesn't help that any potentially challenging scenario is just solved by using a death card. I don't feel any stakes at this point.
The world building is interesting (regarding lotuses), but the characters in the later parts are just not interesting enough to carry forward the story.
Around 800, there's also sides.
What a crappy translation! the translator should either take a basic grammer/writing class or just pass the translation off to a competent translator like the 25th_chestnut.
The link is not working as usual..!
Chapter 75 is a repeat.
I think Xia is like a nickname.......probably similar to xiao. I could be completely wrong tho
To be fair, the scaling in most cultivation book suck and the romance is like 2d.
This is my honest review.
If you can handle author/translator's problems with past, present and future tense then overall omitting the former the book is a solid 7/10, mc evolves every 10 levels starting at lvl 10, power system is a bit unique but still western magic/knight style with monster race traits. No R18 scenes so far even though mc's a goblin. The world building is deep for the main world but not so much for the sub worlds. Theres some yandere girls, but their relationship hasn't been talked about in these first 400 chapters. Power level goes from F-S-SSS-Hero-God-(currently unstated levels of godhood). Mc is always slightly OP for his level yet is always fighting mobs above his level. Overall the story is fast pace and it feels like time is always running out and you're always waiting for the other shoe to drop. You can tell author has vaguely planned out the first 400-600 chapters based on the first 300-400 chapters and it isn't an unplanned self insert.
Deffo Recommended.
Son of the Hero King is also a good R-18. This novel is a good example of "picked it up for sm*t, stayed for three story." Although this cite doesn't have the current chapters of this novel sadly. Had to look elsewhere.
Why does the synopsis of this LN remind me of a knockoff version of NSHBA?
