I need to talk about He Yuan because this man is doing SO MUCH without saying a single word. Let me just — the scene where he watches Lin Yue struggling with the blinds and then secretly raises them all the way up? That is the most He Yuan thing ever. He doesn't tell her he did it. He doesn't make a big deal out of anything. But she notices, she looks at him through the glass, and she curls her lips slightly. And he looks away because he was caught staring at her waist. I am DEAD. The author builds this whole backstory about how He Yuan first saw Lin Yue — the golden hour lighting, the pink sweater, the way she smiled at Teacher Qin. It's described in such a specific, almost cinematic way that you immediately understand why he's smitten. This isn't just 'she's pretty.' It's about something in her energy that caught his attention. The text says she had 'a streak of stubbornness — a resilience not easily discouraged.' That's the kind of detail that tells you he's paying attention to who she IS, not just what she looks like. And then there's Zhou Yunce, who is basically the wingman we all need in our lives. The moment he notices He Yuan acting differently during the interview and thinks 'a thousand-year-long iron tree finally blossoms'? Chef's kiss. This man has known He Yuan for ten years and immediately connects the dots. His motivation to help is so genuine — he's not doing it for drama, he genuinely wants his friend to be happy. But the most complicated relationship right now is between Lin Yue and Qing Jing. Qing Jing lost the secretary position to Lin Yue despite thinking she was better in every way, and now she's taking it out on Lin Yue by making their shared apartment miserable. The greasy dishes in the sink, the ignored requests to clean up — this is petty, passive-aggressive behavior that feels painfully realistic. I want to shake Qing Jing and also simultaneously understand her resentment. She has a master's degree and lost to someone with an education background? That's a specific kind of professional humiliation.
I have already written 320 chapters of the story, with hundreds more in the draft. According to beta readers, the quality remained consistent till the latest stuff. So give it a go and have fun reading.
The story idea is very interesting, and the world building is very interesting.
Great novel, continue pls. . .. . ..
ok 5 chap and im hooked... doesn't have a system like level up or any task just a wealth of information storage& analysis that the mc can access, promising plot so far we'll see how it goes. anyway recommend to try ???
Just finished reading 'Kente'—really enjoyed it! The descriptions are vivid, and the characters, both good and bad, are well-defined. The world-building is solid, and I'm pleasantly surprised by the MC's growth and backstory. I've read many novels here, and this one easily ranks in my top 5.
Damn man u cliffhanger but all is well I like it. Minor tweaking and you are good to go.
Good job threbook is really good and like the system than other books but please keep updating this It could turn into a big master piece. ?
Echoes of the End is a masterful blend of mystery, cosmic horror, and psychological tension that grips you from the first page and refuses to let go. Author LightChaser weaves a haunting narrative where ancient symbols, cryptic whispers, and shadowy entities entwine with chilling elegance. The story’s vivid imagery brings the eerie Obelisk and its shards to life, while the creeping dread of an impending cataclysm permeates every page. Echoes of the End is not merely a novel; it’s an odyssey into the unknown. If you’re ready to confront the shadows lurking within and without, this is the book you’ve been waiting for. Prepare to be consumed. What sets Echoes of the End apart is its ability to balance cosmic terror with intimate, emotional stakes. Eleanor’s evolution—marked by courage, doubt, and an unsettling connection to the eldritch forces at play—is both inspiring and terrifying. Each character, from the steadfast Lena to the desperate villagers, adds layers of humanity to a world unraveling at its seams.
This work is cut above the rest and a masterpiece. You will know when you get there ? though with slight improvements on grammar and narrative, just a little speck of wonders and it's all good! ? I love how the smut was introduced and it was laid well. Loved it! ?
A 5 star review from a man of culture! I really enjoyed reading it and will read it daily!
