I need a minute. I need a actual minute because the interrogation room scene where Wu Zhen confesses is probably one of the most emotionally devastating sequences I've read in any novel, and I've read a lot. Let me be honest with you—I went in expecting a standard whodunit payoff. The clever detective pieces together clues, the suspect cracks, case closed. Standard stuff. What I got instead was a full-on emotional gut punch that left me sitting there just... staring at my phone. The moment she starts describing the abuse, the author doesn't hold back. "He even blames me, saying I'm the one who ruined him like this, calling me a whore who hooked up with other dirty men outside, causing his infertility!" Two years of this. Two years of waking up next to a man who sees you as the source of his failure and treats you accordingly. And the parents? The in-laws? "Asking why I don't go out and get hit by a car and die—that way they could at least get some compensation money." I literally gasped out loud. Not because it was shocking in a plot-twist way, but because it was so brutally, horrifyingly real. This isn't fictional drama. This is something that happens to real women every single day. And then the scar. The earthworm-shaped scar on her lower back from when he cut it out with scissors after she brought up divorce. I don't think I've ever read a single sentence that made me physically recoil the way that one did. But here's what really got me—the ending. Ye Xuan saying she'll find peace in prison. That she's just an ordinary woman whose mental fortitude isn't as strong as Lin Chengfeng's. That she killed her husband and the law will punish her, but without the case being solved, she would have kept suffering. There's no happy ending here. There's just... survival. And sometimes survival looks like murder. God, that line. "We all seek freedom, yet our circumstances are worlds apart."
This is what I think so far:1.Anyways the novel is some peak lvl compared to the usual novels u find on wn these days .2.There's no harem in it so a plus point.3.The MC is sensible enough and not like your average beta and brain-dead MCs.4. The characters are good so far, all are likeable.
Frankly, this is one of the best novel I have ever read it contains everything I ever would have wanted in a novel ...it's very nice . Good work dmar_shal.
2 questions. Will this stay free? Is it Twincest?
Hi, Author here! (And shamelessly giving my novel 5 stars :,) )If you're interested in seeing a story with a somewhat similar set-up to Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint, but in a more fantasy setting? Well, Fanfic Isekai is the novel for you! While writing this, I hope to include:- An MC that has knowledge of how the story plays out, but is otherwise weak at first and is dragged along by the plot- By the end, he'll be the one changing the story himself- Characters he created, from villains to side characters, will develop into their own people, past even what he sees them as (just characters in a book)- A diverse and interesting cast/setting/lore with twists and turns in the plotIf this intrigues you, give the novel a try! Please treat this review as a Q/A section and I'll try my best to answer your questions.Thank you.
Hi author I think the novel is good but not my type and here are some suggestions or ideas for a new novel
waiting for the intriguing part so far I love it??????????????????????????❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️???????
Reading and fell in love with the characters, especially the MC -Terumi Kuro, he's quirky and funny, tsundere (just a cutesy bit). This is heavily light novel prose, which is quite a fresh in Webnovel demographic in general. The author went to quite a great length with the character interactions, which I pretty much enjoyed. The dialog and joke came so naturally. I felt like they were really alive, even sentient, Hehe. For those they loved the action/magic, reading till chapter 5! This is where those began to shine. And then stories are getting more intense and ultimately more FUN! Please give it a read if you love slice-of-life, slow burn, emotional depth, and MC driven plotline!
Lots of inconsistency. ML can’t find his mate in a closed off room thinking she was just hiding. He’s an Alpha for pete’s sake. Even their son can find her Mom leaving from the hospital so he had to run to where her scent leads him. There was also the scene where FL asked her son in a whisper to not call her Mom while ML is just at the back of her. An Alpha should have a heightened hearing. What is this?
I love this book ,pls continue , please
What can I say, he knows the secret to surpass Lv.100 ? ?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
The few chapters at the start are quite slow-paced, but after that, the fun of the story begins. Also, I like to applaud the author for using first-person POV in writing the story. It really highlights the MC's personality.
