This is unfortunate. I enjoy the premise and overall concept of this story. The problem is that this story could be about an MC that has no special power or immortal life and nothing would change. The fact the MC does not age has no bearing on anything in this story. It has never come into effect at all. The only thing it does is let the mc think about how they are safe from time and that's it. Even though he is never in danger of time in the first place. The MC is scared and that's understandable I like a vigilant MC. What I hate though is an MC who has no feelings and has the power to help those around them with little to no effect on them and doesn't. It bothers me a lot. I have read 350+ chapters and the MC repeatedly does this.
Mantaps.... Mantaps.... Mantaps.... Mantaps.... Mantaps.... Mantaps.... Mantaps.... Mantaps.... Mantaps.... Mantaps.... Mantaps.... Mantaps....
I've read the translated raws, although currently there's only 129, it's pretty good!
To me, it's interesting to read this story not because the storyline only, it also have it's own evolution, and the writing is unique. For example, the MC asking the system to list down his ability. I hope he'll make some improvement, especially his grammar. That's all from me.
Before thinking whether to read the novel or not just read the first chapter on author thought. The storyline and plot is surprisingly detailed and the author managed to write a story where the world doesn't revolve around MC but it's not a multiple POV type story. (Good for me)All major encounters with other characters are logical and they don't just pop out of nowhere just because the plot demands it...they are always given a little background which makes them alive and believable.... except MC's mother side of family. but I guess that will be revealed later. Side characters appear and leave logically and not because of random plot. The story has 2-3 cliche parts but the execution and results are very different from the normal...(*spoiler- there is tournaments and mc finding rare spirit beast and a young master goes after the MC for he talked to his supposed wife/girl...but in a totally different way*)Otherwise this story is kingdom building in a poor abandoned land...mc has his OP inheritance but doesn't use hack techniques to improve his land but simply expensive very scarce resources which any normal lord will spend only on himself. In short the kingdom building is realistic too, compared to other novels where mc is either reincarnation from future or from earth...Another thing in novel you will find interesting is the cultivation system and the structure of cultivation world in general. the difference between different states of cultivation is not insurmountable and those in the same stages is even more so... atleast in the starting and mid stages...this makes it interesting as just having higher cultivation doesn't mean sure victory..it comes down to how good their techniques are and thier teamwork....This is refreshing after reading so many one man army MCs...The world-building in general is great the noble families, the commoners they act differently than the stereotype established in other novels...like nobles are oppressive and common men are miserable and only the mc saves them and they will grateful to eternity.well that's it ..I ranted a lot .... author keep up the good work, I generally don't start reading new novels unless they have 300+ chapters coz this site has given me many heartbreaks but I changed my mind after reading your first chapter so don't you dare disappoint me by dropping it.
(please take my review with a grain of salt as I normally read fanfics and those, as most would know have a terrible standard for quality. This review is from memory up to chap. 45 reading it once.)The story is normal for its type; The genre of survival novels with systems have been gone over by multiple authors over the 2 years already. This novel approaches it similarly with a difference of focus. It focuses more on the harem part from what I've read. Focusing on the Characters around the MC on how they respond to the sudden shift of power due to the situation they were thrown in. Since the other characters that had been introduced from the start were mostly women we focus on oh they react to the main character. While we do also see the interactions of the MC to the characters the MC is simplistic in design. We haven't explored how the main character thinks with little internal dialogue which actually matters to the characterization of the person in question. The conflicts were introduced well enough that I wouldn't complain though they are also quite simple serving a purpose of drawing the women to him and developing the MC in the survival sense showing how a person with such abilities adapt to survival in an island. The system is weird at times but doesn't stray from what it says it does. The MC gains experience and exchanges them for knowledge and abilities that would be somewhat understandable in the situation. Not to fantastical but not mundane enough that it would bore you. The description of the abilities though I found lacking. The abilities were shown yes but I would have responded better with more description to both the scene and the actions of the characters.(If you've reached this point then you have fully read (maybe) the review. Thank you for taking your time for reading this poorly written review from a person with little experience in reviewing or looking at books with an analytical eye. I hope you have a pleasant day, week, month and year.)
Great characters, storytelling, world building and so far i don't think I've seen a single grammar error or typo, which is very appreciated nowadays. Update stability hasn't been the best, but that's because author's been busy with other things.Amazing book
Seems like an interesting new readI hope that you update regularly......................................................................................................
Nice novelThe concept the author created are very good and are well implemented in the world background. There are some errors in the plot and the characters lack ‘ true emotion’, Another thing regard the MC, he’s not an idiot, but not that smart either.Try to give him a faster mental growth, the mask should heavily influence his other self. Moreover, the stronger the smart. He doesn’t need to be a genius, but if he can multitask and fight so well then he should not need the system reminder or fall in his own forgetfulness. All in all, it’s a very nice Novell that, if correctly improved, can be brought to a higher level. In my opinion the author have hope of writing top novel in the future, so keep it up.
Ok so I don’t really write reviews but I just read up to the latest chapter and I can say that this novel has a unique feel to it. It has a good pace which is not to slow or not to fast (good job author) and the thing I like the most about it is that Ozul has a unique character with the way he likes sleeping under a tree at night and switching to the house in the morning. It’s also awesome that he has a actual reason to like darkness and Gives some solid answers and comparisons not like the other novels which is like oh I love darkness and it’s one with me blah blah blah...One thing I would probably change about it is I feel there should be more of a bonding between Ozul and Raven because they’ve lived together for 10 years and I think that they should have become closer rather than just lap pillows. I need MOREEEEEE. Also sorry if there are mistakes in my review cause I’m not good at English.
So what I’m to understand is that this mad snail kid and this angry snail clown both decided to make a video game novel, is this like a battle or are they related or secret lovers, BL at it’s finest.
this is in no way English absolutely positively no way ............................................................................. no way!
