The cold strong fingers lightly pressing down contrast with the sticky feeling under your feet, as you collect bits of dirt and grim along the way. Lights are flickering, as you absentmindedly note that although they are all "off white in shade" neither their color or shape matches any of the lights which have come before them.
I know I've never been a reliable author with all of my abrupt stops and breaks, writing various novels and not finishing even a single one of them.
"but amma because of my project I went there. i will say when i will go again and amma stop interrogate me i am not child anymore for god sake. you are treating me like child " i said and i am also angry.
"U-Um…" I uttered after a deep breath "I guess I'm leading our platoon"
"Good." The other Elderly man said sighing. "I'm already sick and tired of these slums." He said glancing around at the piles of trash that covered the floor. "And you started all the way at the bottom right?" He asked the teen.
She was not out for long. Unconscious was hardly even the word for the spell induced slumber that lingered about her body and made her fall limp like a doll in his arms. When she awoke, it was as though from a dream of endless summer and warm comfort. As the light dimmed however, she felt dread quickly return to her, the sickening feeling of realizing a nightmare, as she took in the darkness all around her. There was a light, dimly illuminating the room, though the light did not flicker like a flame. It was unnaturally constant, making the room even more menacing than if there had been no light at all.
"Hmph... a voice is talking to me in my head.... so ridiculous.... stupid box... Mom... dad... what's in the box!"
But I can't deny the fact. I am unable to sleep just kept tossing and turning in my bed.
Oh dang! I forgot that Sia actually has a good resume, how terrifying. She might be even more influential than Tania....but Sia isn't really well known since she doesn't show herself much.
