The narrative is exceptional, with intricately woven mystery elements that captivate the reader. The characters are well-developed, each possessing unique and engaging personalities. They undergo significant growth throughout the story. Jo Eushin, the protagonist, is an endearing character that garners genuine admiration (I'm practically fawning over him, along with Cale Henituse and Han Sooyoung).
Despite the initial failure of the game, Jo's connection to the characters he's spent years nurturing is strong, making it difficult for him to disengage. He genuinely cares about their well-being and actively strives to bring about a positive outcome. While he refrains from killing, he's not lenient with his adversaries, maintaining a balanced approach.
Jo's abilities are neither overly powerful nor mundane; he has a skill called "Use of All Things" with limitations, demonstrating resourcefulness in various situations. He knows when to rely on others for assistance, showcasing teamwork.
The translation quality, however, is a mixed bag. Initially, it's decent up until around chapter 50 or 60, but then it dips suddenly. A new translator takes over later, improving readability, but there are occasional inconsistencies due to different interpretations. Some Korean terms, like "Gwanglim," are left untranslated for authenticity, but new translators might alter or struggle with these, causing errors.
In conclusion, this novel is highly recommended, with its compelling storyline, well-rounded characters, and a touch of relatable emotion. Give it a chance by starting with the first ten chapters and form your own opinion.
"Portable Armory, an immersive phone app, captivated me with its intricate storytelling and engaging gameplay. The user interface is sleek, seamlessly blending a virtual arsenal into a real-life adventure. I found myself engrossed in the quest to build and strategize, as if holding a tangible weapon in my fingertips. The narrative unfolds with unexpected twists, keeping me hooked till the very end. A must-try for those who crave a blend of tech and thrilling storytelling."
Not everyone likes romance. Honestly, I'm sick of romances, almost every story tries to shove romance down our throats and ends up doing a p*ss-poor job of writing it. Very, very few authors are even capable of writing romance... and none of them are Chinese.
He doesn't have harem the girls around him are temporary and he sends the away once their not useful, the only girl he has if his wife
Soul of neggary
100+ chapters in.. when will the translator stop randomly writing "only" in the middle with no context...it always ruins the mood whenever I start reading it deeply
Great novel, the numbers that keep changing in the beginning is quite annoying, but this is still a great novel
Continue the story bro. As the guy below said, there are huge differences between the two novels. And isn't the plot at the beginning similar for almost every genre's novels? After the novel's extra, many novels came up with such a start. Tapov is an example, but tapov still is good and there were so many differences spoted later.
change the name from Frestech Chamber of commerce to Frestech Inc or Ltd, chamber of commerce is so unnecessarily big
No better than comics
Good story, assuming Updating Stability means it updates often, then it'll be a 4.6 rating for now until further notice. Keep up the good word dude, doing great :)
Amazing Book. You will not be disappointed.
