Nagiliant
This is the lowest ranked novel I read but it's actually not that bad, its even better that some light novels that are like 200 ranks higher than it. Although mc starts out naive he actually progresses later on, at the very least he better than other retarded mcs
5 stars for originality
3 stars for character development
I was so intrigued by the premise of this novel, and let me tell you, the first three chapters were fantastic. But then came the trouble...
**Spoiler**
I don’t really like the male lead (ML); he was so slow at solving problems, all because he didn’t want the main character (MC) to know that he could see his ‘ghost.’ Yes, I understand that he loves the MC deeply, but I don’t think that justifies his way of letting everyone, especially his annoying brother, continue causing problems. For someone who is supposed to be an overbearing ‘genius president’ of the century, it’s baffling how easily he lets himself be pushed around. The plot also became ridiculous in the later chapters, like when the MC becomes human again and the first thing he does is look for a job, only to be accepted immediately just because he’s handsome, even though he doesn’t even have an ID card. It’s laughable.
It’s an okay read, though—just something to pass the time, if you can accept the two-dimensional villains. But I’m dropping this.
The novel has been quite impressive up to this point, with numerous foreshadowing elements that keep readers engaged. The author has done an excellent job in maintaining intrigue. However, I can understand why some might not enjoy it due to its emotional intensity, making it unsuitable for those seeking a lighthearted read. The story demands full attention, as missing out on details could lead to lost plot points.
A key aspect of the protagonist is his dual identity – a self-proclaimed villain and a hero. Some readers might expect a change in demeanor after a regression, but the character's growth stays consistent with his mental separation of the two selves. His self-loathing is a crucial trait, stemming from the realization that his actions, even for saving the world, might not be excused. This can be misconstrued as hypocrisy, but it's a nuanced aspect of his character.
Here's a recommendation for who might appreciate the book:
- Fans of well-developed protagonists who undergo both physical and emotional challenges, portrayed vividly. The story focuses on a misunderstood loner striving to bring happiness to others.
- Characters with depth, including lifelike side characters and relatable female leads. The novel offers an immersive experience, evoking genuine emotions rather than being a superficial read.
- Those interested in intricate interpersonal relationships and the dynamics between the MC and supporting characters, as these interactions drive the narrative.
- Readers who enjoy seeing the protagonist overcome obstacles despite the odds.
On the other hand, the following might prefer to avoid the novel:
- Individuals who dislike drama or heavy themes, as the story presents a grim world view.
- Those looking for extensive world-building, as it might not be a primary focus.
In conclusion, so far, the novel has been solid, and I'm excited to see more. It caters to readers who appreciate complex characters and engaging storytelling.
I'm honestly baffled by how underrated this novel is. It's a breath of fresh air compared to the countless generic, cookie-cutter romance novels out there. So far, in Chapter 4 Part 1, both main characters exhibit remarkable intelligence and independence, which I find captivating. The female lead's talent is impressive without making her an overpowering protagonist – her kindness and love are heartwarming to read. The male lead, on the other hand, just has this irresistible charm. I felt compelled to write this review, as there aren't many, to recommend this book. Trust me, if you give it a chance, you won't be disappointed!
I was here
yea I was actually the first white room student ever, the thing is I have passed all the tests that they have given me. That was how they improved the over all quality of the the white room to make Aynakuji the best. But here is the thing that no one knows, I have only used 35% of my intellect when in the white room.
To short wtf, the story was not bad but not solid also... But it is interesting to read.. i want to know the story in the immortal world, also the continuation of their relationships... Haiyaaa
Any senior poison tester here? Can you guys give some impressions if you've read this? ?
This novel title is funny to me cus in my language Mumu means idiöt
First it started with anime, that kept me busy for a few years.
Then I started reading Manga/Manhwa/Manhua because watching anime was too slow and that kept me busy for a few years...
Then I thought, 'it sucks I have to wait around a month per new chapter, maybe I should read the light novels' and that kept me busy for a few more years...
Now friends, I am considering learning Japanese, Korean, and Chinese because waiting for translations is also too slow :(
(Maybe you will see me in the future helping with translations ¯\\_(ツ)_/¯)
you could try running away from the hero
Right from the first chapter, I was hooked. Such a captivating and promising plot. Just added it to my library, really can't wait to read more. Nice job, S_Wolfe
