I have to talk about the dialogue in this book because it's genuinely good and I don't say that lightly. Each character has a distinct voice and it's not just different vocabulary—it's different ways of thinking that come through in how they speak. Zhou Yunce is the standout. His dialogue is fast, teasing, and completely unfiltered. When he says 'Still pretending. We thought that clause would restrict others, but who knew it would completely set Secretary Lin free? And you even saw her going on blind dates—haha, I can't, this is too funny,' that's not just exposition—that's a character. He's the friend who will never let you live down your mistakes, and his voice is so distinct that you could read a line and know it's him without seeing the name tag. He Yuan's dialogue is the perfect contrast. Short, precise, controlled. 'No.' 'Eat.' 'Secretary Lin.' He doesn't waste words. Even when he's explaining something, it's economical: 'Love at first sight sounds a bit romantic, but you know I'm not a romantic person. I'd rather call it a feeling.' That's He Yuan in one sentence—deflecting emotion with logic, but the emotion is still there underneath. Lin Yue's voice is the most interesting because it's mostly internal. Her external dialogue is polite, professional, minimal. But her inner monologue is where the comedy lives. 'Help... this is too stressful.' 'Assistant Zhou, please come quickly.' 'What should I do? I don't even know how to tie a tie yet.' The gap between her professional exterior and her chaotic interior is where a lot of the humor comes from. The narrative voice itself is also worth noting. It's close third person, shifting between characters' perspectives, and it has this wry, observant quality that matches the tone of the story. It's not overly literary or pretentious—it's accessible and sometimes funny in its own right. Lines like 'A classic case of shooting himself in the foot' after the clause reveal are perfect narrative commentary. And that final line—'You chose a good secretary. It's clear'—cut off mid-sentence, leaving President Zhao's thought unfinished. That's a great narrative choice. It creates a moment of silence that says more than any dialogue could.
I have to talk about the dialogue in this book because it's genuinely excellent and I don't say that lightly. Sun Jiazhi's voice is so distinct—she starts warm and motherly, then shifts to Stern Manager Mode without missing a beat. 'Child, it's good to be happy, but don't get complacent.' That's not how a real mother talks to a recovering daughter. That's how a performance coach talks to an athlete. And Zeng Yan's response? 'What determination? An ordinary worker can quit their job, and a patient who nearly died is ready for a rebellion!' The modern sensibility bleeding through is perfect. She's not just speaking differently—she's THINKING differently, and the dialogue makes that clear. Then you have Hu Sifeng, the grandmother, who doesn't even bother with pretense. 'My poor granddaughter, Grandma's here to see you. Oh, you've already gained weight after being here for a day. The food at the gold mine hospital must be great.' She reveals her entire scheme in one sentence. No subtext, no acting. Just shameless. And the niece? 'You good-for-nothing girl, you have good things but don't know to honor your elders.' Get out. This woman walked into a hospital room and immediately started giving orders. The narrative voice is also doing heavy lifting here. Zeng Yan's internal monologue has this dry, modern humor—'Who says I can't act?' and 'Transmigration had a cover charge!'—that keeps the tone from getting too heavy. The author knows how to let the characters breathe through their words.

Reader please and please read this novel you will be thrilled.
i always think when i hear "i will protect the people i care about" in novels, animes, etc..as long as there is no people you care about except yourself by protdcting yourself doesn't that mean you protcted the people you care about(yourself)seriously why bother caring about so many people and protecting them everyone is a human that know how to take care of themselves if they couldn't protect themselves it's their fault why task yourself with protecting then
This novel captivated my heart.Iam expecting more twist in the story...love it...
Chapter 1 is a fantastic start. You've established a unique premise with Hengsheng's unexpected system power, setting the stage for an exciting, unconventional cultivation journey. The initial scene in the Endless Void, showcasing the struggle between transcendent beings, is captivating and immediately immerses the reader in this world's grand scale. Hengsheng's initial despair after being declared spirit coreless is very relatable, and you've effectively conveyed the emotional impact of his situation. His determination and resilience shine through, especially in his interaction with his mother. The pacing of the chapter is excellent, gradually building the suspense leading up to the reveal of Hengsheng's system power. The "Ding! [Make a wish]" moment is both intriguing and promising, leaving the reader eager to discover the possibilities of this system.
