His eyes, no longer my favorite colors mixed. Noah, no longer my Mo Mo.
Tail nods. "Yes, I guess so?"
She was observing the surroundings of the small hut trying to figure out if Arlo was inside the laboratory or out on the wild hunting.
Let me just say: the stakes in this story are weirdly high even though nothing externally dangerous is happening yet. And I think that's because the author is playing with two different types of conflict simultaneously. On the surface, there's the contractual marriage setup—Qin Zelin wants out in a year, Cen Miao doesn't even understand what marriage means, and everyone involved (except Cen Miao) thinks they have this figured out. But the real conflict is internal, and it's building quietly. Qin Zelin keeps telling himself this is just a arrangement, just to satisfy his grandfather, just to get Old Master Cen's promise fulfilled and then move on. But every scene undercuts that. He's the one who offers the extra steak. He's the one who says "Eat as much as you want." He's the one carrying the luggage. He's telling himself he's in control while his actions say something completely different. And Cen Miao—his stakes are even higher, even though he doesn't know it. He's a zombie soul pretending to be human, in a body that isn't his, married to a stranger who thinks he's naive. If anyone finds out what he really is, everything falls apart. But beneath the survival anxiety, there's this deeper fear: what if Qin Zelin realizes he's not worth caring for? What if the contract ends and he's alone again? The moment he asks "Why did you go by yourself?" with those misty eyes—that's the stakes laid bare. It's not about the marriage certificate. It's about not being abandoned. The author hasn't triggered any external crisis yet, but the tension is already there, humming under every interaction. And that's what makes you keep reading. Not because you're worried about zombies or villains, but because you can see these two people hurtling toward something neither of them expects, and you're desperate to see what happens when the contract can no longer contain what they're feeling.
"I don't hate the past Lamenters, and I definitely have no hate for a descended that knows nothing of that old war. But, honestly, the only reason I'm helping is because you're here. If someone else interesting arrived instead of your family, I'd have helped them out just as much." John says.
After that Lie searched for the woman he hated, Rint. He had expected that the next unit would be led by the woman. But his guess is wrong. The last unit was commanded by Yuristo.
"You!..." Ye Zhi Shao's face turned black after hearing this. Without further due, he ran towards the door.
wonderful novel if only it was updated more. The concept the novel is based around is wholly unique and extremely fascinating however the lack of regularity truly pulls down this novel. Overall a great read and wonderful premise only truly hampered by lack of quantity.
Good novel author! The novel starts off good despite the first two heavy chapters and as I read more, I found it interesting. He has a lovely family to 'take care' him.
He didn’t even have the time to open his eyes as he reflexively slapped his hands against the ground, intending to use the counterforce produced to leap up and flee…
This is a dead novel. Look at how many chapters per week this should have(5 at the time of this writing) and compare it to the recent history(0 as of this writing). There is no reason any novel should be put up as premium if it cannot keep up with the printed schedule. It is a waste to everyone's time and money since the is no communication on what happened to this novel.
I just need a fastpass and am sorry for doing it like this. My review should not influence the scoring too much as I chose to offer the rounded artithmetc mean. Hope it does promote the novel anyways. I can’t find myself interested in pure Romance but, seeing the many readers that do hope that you may continue to offer lots of enjoyment and value to them and wish you sucess with this Novel.
