However, the book is incredibly enjoyable to read—it's like a guilty pleasure, ideal for times when you want to feel happy or relaxed without diving deeply into the story. Therefore, I recommend this for anyone seeking something lighthearted and entertaining; the misunderstandings are quite funny. I'm not sure about the romance or harem aspect, but it's likely to become a harem soon, although the original author hasn't officially labeled it as such yet.

When I read it, I felt like I was in a game system world! That's a lot of cool technical names, and Player has a cool name too. I can imagine the whole novel as an anime. Amazing story. I started reading expecting a generic harem story with hopefully decent H-scenes, but this turned out to be a story with deep and multi-dimensional characters, amazing plot with some twists that left me with my mouth hanging open, great writing that hooked me within a few chapters and kept its grip until the end, and even quite some philosophical depth. And yeah, the H-scenes are good, though I kinda wish there were more of them. Honestly, the story isn't completely my cup of tea, because I'm an escapist and the desperation of impending doom isn't exactly what I enjoy reading about - that's why I don't read apocalyptic stories often. Also, the blurring of lines between AI or an electronic brain and biological, natural sentient life is territory I'm not entirely comfortable with. Even so, the story is just so good that I remained hooked to it until I finished all the 152 chapters available.It's been a while since I last read a story so clearly worth full 5/5 stars.
