There's a theme running through this section that I can't stop thinking about: the transformation of poison into power. The Gu Worm was supposed to be a weapon — Concubine Zhou's attempt to ruin Jiang Chuji's body and beauty. Instead, it becomes the very thing that makes her more dangerous. This isn't just a plot device; it's a statement about the nature of evil and how it can be turned against itself. The autumn lake water is another symbol that keeps coming back to me. 'The autumn lake water had been bone-chillingly cold. Having soaked in it for so long, she wasn't about to let it go just because her confinement was lifted early.' This isn't just about physical cold — it's about the emotional chill of betrayal, of being abandoned, of being punished for crimes you didn't commit. And Jiang Chuji is choosing to carry that coldness with her, to let it sharpen her rather than break her. Then there's the fever — or the fake fever. On one level, it's a tool, a strategy. But symbolically, it represents something else: the heat of transformation. Jiang Chuji takes a medicine that 'raises body temperature and induces sweating' — she's literally forcing herself through a purging, a cleansing. The flushed cheeks, the cold sweat, the fragile appearance — all of it is performance, but it's also real in its own way. She has been through something real. The fever is both mask and mirror. And the name 'Yilan Courtyard' — if I'm reading the symbolism right, 'Yilan' suggests resilience, the ability to thrive in difficult conditions. The courtyard Concubine Zhou 'arranged' for her was actually better than what she gave her own daughter, which is deeply ironic. The concubine's attempt at disguised cruelty becomes an unwitting gift. The text says Jiang Chuji 'intended to transform herself from being ignored by this elder brother to becoming the sister he cared about most deeply.' This is the core theme: transformation through strategy, through patience, through the willingness to play a longer game. The poison meant to destroy her became perfume. The cold lake became fuel. The fever became a bridge to the one person who might actually help her.
waiting for next chapter plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Unashamed author here :)Writing a review for your own book is not easy, so if you have any questions about the novel, you can leave them in the comments!- "First of all, what is this book about?" It's about a guy named Kaido who accidentally went back in time to his previous self-body. Trying to correct and change things that once happened from occurring again from going the way it did before- "What type of guy is Kaido?" He is a cynical, easily angry man with a overall hatred for the world on life. But! He has a sense of humor and a strong desire to not only survive but also thrive in this world. You'll like him, I promise.- "Will he be overpowered?" No. He will certainly become powerful, but not powerful enough kill and clear every obstacle in his way like a God or something.- "Will there be romance?" Yes, but a slow one.-When I mean romance I'm not saying Harem please note.- "How often are you updating?" Currently, I'm dedicated to writing one/two chapter every day. The amount may increase, it depends on a lot of factors. Like my schooling and Work- And, finally... "Aren't you too full of yourself? You rated your book almost five stars!" What can I say, It's the best book have ever written, "ooh wait it's my only book here" Yes, it's my only book and still my best one. If you don't believe me do well to check it out.Mentor ; Guilitythree.

A creepy paranormal story. Samantha is sympathetic but truly terrifying!
I am absolutely obsessed with your novel. From the moment I stumbled upon it, I was hooked by the richly detailed world-building, the complex and relatable characters, and the engaging storyline that seamlessly blends elements of fantasy, adventure, and personal growth. What I think truly sets this novel apart, though, is its unique ability to balance action-packed moments with deeper themes and emotional resonance. The author's writing is masterful, with a keen sense of pacing and a talent for crafting characters that feel fully realized and authentic. I've found myself fully invested in the journey of the protagonist, cheering them on as they navigate the challenges and triumphs of their path. With its thought-provoking themes, intricate plot twists, and boundless creativity, "The Path of the Seeker" has become my go-to escape, and I eagerly await each new chapter to see what wonders the author has in store for us next.
Great writing. Thoughts were good a realistic too. It really happens to people in real life a lot of time
The pacing of the novel is perfect—it keeps moving without feeling rushed or dragging. Just when you think you have the story figured out, a twist will leave you gasping, eagerly turning pages to see what happens next. However, at times the plot feels a little too convenient, with some twists that may come off as a bit forced or overly dramatic for some readers.
