An amazing story. good narration. love it
To be honest, this novel shares some similarities with works like ORV and SLR, particularly in aspects like divine beings, system towers, and mythology. However, the distinct goal of the main character (to protect or save the tower) and the author's skill in weaving these familiar elements together make the story stand out on its own. Despite that, there are a few drawbacks that prevent it from being perfect:
1. The world-building could be more fleshed out and clearer.
2. The ending feels rushed, leaving room for improvement.
3. Some player backgrounds and connections remain confusing.
Nonetheless, despite these shortcomings and the occasional resemblance to other novels, I've genuinely enjoyed the reading experience. I'd advise giving the story a complete read before forming an opinion. ? And don't worry about my slightly imperfect English – #nojudgmentsrequired! ?
This isn't a conventional zombie narrative. It's actually a power fantasy set in a zombie apocalypse disguise. If you swap out the brain-eating for cultivation practices and the zombies for傲娇的年轻少爷， voila – you've got yourself a typical xianxia tale (apologies if the term isn't accurate; I hope you understand what I mean).
What irks me is the protagonist's effortless power gain through a supposed "spiritual connection" with his 'girlfriend.' If he had to actively ingest that substance or undergo some other process, I wouldn't have an issue. But having his crush consume a brain and suddenly feel her strength surge due to their connection? That stretches credibility.
Furthermore, here's a spoiler: In Chapter 9, the MC encounters a couple around their age. The girl exhibits martial arts prowess, effortlessly slicing through zombies while smiling. While this might be impressive, the fact that her speed seems on par with the MC's enhanced girlfriend, who possesses superhuman agility described as "turning into a shadow," pushes suspension of disbelief too far.
Authors be making this "evil" and "villainous", but end up finding out that the MC has Heroic characteristics which is super cringe.
This novel is nice! I hope more of the chapters got translated.

I have how read 200 chapters and I have a few thoughts... For people who enjoy a good should transmigration story this one is pretty entertaining. There is some good action in here, a little romance and a FL that is fairly likeable. I do have a few comments on this story that might help readers decide if this is their cup of tea... 1. The FL has no idea what a villainess is. This is kinda the running gag of the whole story so if you don't find this amusing you will probably be annoyed. 2. Many character motivations are not explained. Now I have not read everything so perhaps they will be explained later on but 200 chapters is a long time to wait for some clarity on this. Some characters act very oddly and even though our FL is smart she just accepts it because this world is based on a badly written otome game.
I believe these issues will probably be resolved later in the story so I recommend readers give it a chance. It is entertaining.
