I'm not even mad about how good the dialogue is in this section. Like, what is the author doing to me? Let me start with Pei Yanshu's voice because it's absolutely distinct. When he says 'Which fairy sister is this, descending on clouds so unsteadily, and even gifting me with a splash of ink?' — that's not just a line, that's a whole personality in one sentence. He's being theatrical and sarcastic and charming all at once. And then he follows it up with 'Or... if the lady truly cannot let this go... How about... I offer myself in marriage instead?' The way he draws out those last words, the roguish teasing mixed with this boldness that says 'I'm just talking nonsense, what can you do about it?' — this is dialogue that makes you laugh out loud. But what's really impressive is how every character has a distinct voice. Shen Nianyi's dialogue is sharp and defensive: 'Enough!' 'Get lost—!' 'From today on, no one is allowed to mention that Pei Yanshu again!' She's all exclamation points and commands because she's trying to maintain control in a situation where she has none. Her dialogue gets more and more frantic as the chapter progresses, which perfectly tracks her emotional state. The neighbors are a masterclass in how to write gossip. 'If you ask me, that Pei Liulang, the one from the Household Administration, his looks are truly top-notch!' — this is the exact way people talk when they're trying to sound helpful but are actually just being nosy. And the way they trail off deliberately: 'how could things have escalated to...' — leaving everything unsaid. That's how real gossip works. Even the stage directions in the dialogue are funny. 'A Man, who was organizing the fabrics, couldn't hold back and let out a pfft before quickly covering her mouth, pretending to be choked by dust and coughing violently.' The author isn't just writing dialogue — she's writing the whole scene around it. And that ending line: 'It seems I've arrived at just the right time. Manager Shen is... enforcing shop rules?' The pause, the knowing tone, the way he says it like an old friend — this is dialogue that does triple duty: it advances the plot, reveals character, and creates tension all at once.
I need to sit down because the scene where Xiao Yu wakes up and kisses Leon the cat is genuinely one of the most tender things I've ever read and also the funniest. Let me explain. Leon has spent the entire night — after transforming back into a tiger, circling Xiao Yu like a possessive predator, sniffing his orange scent, almost losing control — now transformed BACK into a cat, making Xiao Yu a hangover drink with cinnamon and honey capsules because he can't find proper tools. He's being domestic and caring in the most cat-like way possible, and Xiao Yu wakes up, sees the sweet drink, and immediately says "Baby, please don't leave me... I'm so lonely." Then he kisses the cat. On the MOUTH. With honey on his lips. "Drunken words are often half true" — the narrator literally tells us this. Xiao Yu is lonely. He's vulnerable. And his first instinct is to cling to the cat who took care of him all night. But then he tastes something and goes "Ptooey ptooey ptooey" and asks why there's cat litter in his drink. Leon, the big proud alpha who just spent the night half-transformed and making hangover remedies, is sitting there holding back a low growl. The contrast between Leon's internal intensity and Xiao Yu's completely oblivious morning-after confusion is both heartbreaking and hilarious. And the fact that Leon ALMOST turns into a tiger again from excitement when Xiao Yu kisses him — that's the kind of detail that makes me want to throw the book across the room. This man cannot keep it together for ONE second.
One of the best novel I've ever seen the story is fantastic the world background i's beautiful even the character design is so good there's so awesome character no one will regret if he read this novel ???
Hey, just finished reading Endless Wandar and I'm blown away! Psygo did an amazing job of crafting a story that's both engaging and emotionally resonant. The characters are so well-developed and relatable, and the plot twists kept me hooked. I love how he explored the genre in a way that's both thoughtful and impactful.Definitely recommend this story to anyone looking for a great read!
Well tbh i did not even started reading this but just the idea of historical kingdom building novel just deserve 5 stars from me from the beggining and involving ancient greece is just a plus in all of this
Is there romance in this novel? please no it holds back the MC
This is my first time writing a werewolf novel, and I personally don’t enjoy stories where the MC is weak and fragile. That’s why I’m writing this—for myself as well—because I want to read a story where the MC is strong. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I’ll be happy to reply.
new chapter is epic just giving the review back then of the old book!
The story is still very interesting, and the protagonist's personality is also Symbol of mine
safely to say you can skip the first 7 chapters and save yourself from reading the overly use plot of a self pity, no backbone and a weak bullied male lead, with an otherworldly luck and love interest, if you start reading from ch 8, the story is more reasonable and less unrealistic, the characters progression is also start from there too.
holy hell dude !! I've read more than 1000 books in this app and the books that captivated me to read every word aren't even in double digits. This is one of them. Only 13 chapters in but I can feel how good this book will become. The emotions described in the novel is realistic. Main character is cautious. even though you said edgy mc, he doesn't feel like one (for good reason because i don't really like edgy mc). kinda reminds me of Kahn from hero of darkness ( another 5/5 novel imo). good going man. I'm way too hyped for this novel.
This is really a good novel. I like everything: good story plot, characters and their potential development. I am looking forward for more updates. Also, I will definitely recommend to everyone to read this novel.
