Dengan kesal dan terpaksa akhirnya mereka menerima hukuman tersebut. Dengan tatapan beraneka ragam dari kelas mereka jadi tontonan menyenangkan bagi yang lain.
"Ms.Lennox, we have a meeting with the director of Twan Candy Bar in half an hour." I nod and press the glow-up button. "Okay, meet me in the conference room 10 minutes before, until then do not send anyone in. I have to deal with this stranger." They nod and go about their business while I make my way into the elevator. Once the elevator stopped at my floor, my security guards were in my office with someone sitting in between.
Okay so Ye Junfei is genuinely the most infuriating and magnetic character I have ever encountered. Let me just say it: the man has ZERO concept of personal boundaries and I am HERE for it. The moment he walks into her room — literally hiding in her boudoir like some kind of delinquent — and starts demanding she "take responsibility" because she saw him naked? Lin Xiuyan's reaction is so perfectly relatable. She wants to smash his head in. And yet... she can't afford to provoke him. The power dynamic here is deliciously twisted. But what I love most is how Ye Junfei sees right through her. When he says "It's 'wouldn't dare' rather than 'don't want to,'" he's not just being smug — he's genuinely reading her. And the way he toys with her, blowing into her ear just to watch her tremble, it's such a specific kind of cruelty that's also somehow intimate. He's invading every space she has, and yet... he's also the only person in this story who isn't pretending to be her friend. Compare that to Jiang Xinrou, who wraps herself in silk and tears and actually wants to destroy Lin Xiuyan. The contrast between Ye Junfei's honest villainy and Jiang Xinrou's performative sweetness is chef's kiss. When Lin Xiuyan looks at Jiang Xinrou's "grievance" and thinks about how she died betrayed by both of them in her past life — that's the real horror. These people are actors. Ye Junfei? He's just a bastard. There's something almost refreshing about that.
But, he was training to be a hero! How could he not help those in need? He keep an eye out for those that can't destroy and dodge missiles as easily as he can, they were usually either exhausted, or needed to charge up attacks more then in dire straights.
