As I always say, system themed stories have a way of making any small flaw go unnoticed. I wish there was more focus on worldbuilding. Nevertheless, the writer does a great job at anchoring the readers interest. This goes to the collection.

I love a good villain. The book is a bit dark but I think that is its intent. It is written decently enough. There are a few mistakes but nothing crazy. The Darnell fights are a bit questionable though. Aside from that so far so good.

I found this on Royal Road and binged the first 7 chapters in one day. The synopsis doesn’t disappoint, this is one of the best stories I’ve read with this format. I can’t wait to see the rest!
I want so many chapters like mass release
The prose needs work, I mean it gets the job done but its done so in a very mundane and monotone way that I was turned off for a little bit. The pacing is unengaging and lacking direction, I sometimes wonder where the story and characters are heading. Speaking of characters, this is where The Divine Core shines a little bit along with the story which is pretty unique in its own right. Overall, this is a decent story that barely holds on and simply let down by its lackluster execution.
The author did a solid job. The power system is interesting and makes sense. The Mc is likable and actually intelligent, not doing a move that goes against shown character.
