There's this one image that won't leave my head. Yan Zhao sitting in the first row by the window, sunlight slanting across the desk, Gu Yu leaning over to turn a page for her. The classroom is full of people — students whispering, staring, taking notes — but the narrative narrows down to this small pocket of light and paper between them. It's cinematic in the quietest way possible. The author does something really interesting with the classroom setting. On the surface it's just a university lab — equipment, assignments, a demonstration — but it becomes this arena where every social dynamic plays out. The hallway before they enter is its own kind of stage: Yan Zhao walking slowly, noticing every gaze, every whisper, feeling the weight of being someone who doesn't belong. The text says her back stiffened bit by bit. That's not just nervousness — that's a person who has spent her whole life feeling like an intruder in spaces that weren't built for her. And then there's the novel itself. A worn book with frayed edges, something Gu Yu pulls from a bag she hadn't even noticed. It's such a perfect prop — it's not a textbook, it's not academic at all. It's a bridge. He sees her discomfort and hands her something that speaks to the part of her she keeps hidden, the part that can read but has never had the chance to read for pleasure. The sound of pages turning described as soft, the way she freezes when he reaches over to turn one for her — these details make the scene feel alive in a way that has nothing to do with plot and everything to do with atmosphere. The teacher's house invitation at the end also adds this layer of domestic worldbuilding. It's not just campus anymore — there's a home, a wife waiting, home-cooked dishes. The world is expanding around these two people and Yan Zhao is terrified of every new room she's being led into.
This has lots of potential, its pretty flesh out but with a bit of minor issue, but the good thing is the author learn and fix this issues as chapter go by. 9/10 will standby and read again. Cant wait for more!!!
hey ,I should be first fan of my own novel?
I mean reading till the latest chapter I am not sure what to think.it's good but I don't see how this story can progress without making this all tragic.
best book ever..thank you for reading and recommending it
Please give it a read! It’s worth it! The take on vampires is so much different and unique compared to the stereotypical vampires told in western fashion! This story’s rich with fascinating characters and a very well developed plot!
I’m excited to read this new book, after all my author is the best just so everyone knows ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I think it will exceed 100 episodes. 3 or 4 episodes per week may be released, but will be released more frequently in the beginning. I believe you will see an original topic and an unusual narrative :)
I love suspense stories! Chapter one has a great hook when Serena goes missing, her father is worried, and Emiko remembers seeing something. I love it! Keep it up.
this the best i hope it has mass release and also author do u have discord
I've only read the prologue and I'm already hooked. Leaving a review because as a fellow author I know how much reviews boost an author's confidence and motivation.10/10 so far, will wait for more chapters before fully reading.
