Gonna re-read this now, just so i can write a review, lets go boys
I remember reading this years and years ago
Can’t remember the story much except for the beginning
You convince me ubtil the H18 part, d*mn it was expecting some but seems like I'll be dissapointed. Still might have try this one
I truly enjoyed this novel, but unfortunately, I couldn't complete it due to the lack of an English translation beyond Chapter 1773. The translated material (Machine-Translated Literature) causes me immense strain and makes it difficult for me to comprehend. It's incredibly disheartening because I really connected with the story and Ning Shu is exceptional. I'm filled with sadness at the thought of missing out on such a wonderful gem.
I am eagerly anticipating this novel! Although there hasn't been any direct interaction between the main characters thus far, the historical backdrop appears to be thoroughly researched and of exceptional quality.
The description might give an exaggerated impression, making it seem more amusing than it genuinely is. The character development is decent, featuring a shamelessly cunning main character and an overpowered love interest, typical for a comedy genre novel. However, that's where the appeal lies – this is primarily a comedy, and if humor isn't your forte, there isn't much else to expect.
The core story and supporting cast are average, providing just enough entertainment to pass the time and elicit laughter, depending on your sense of humor. Unfortunately, the comedy doesn't have much depth or variety, relying mostly on simple gags, with only a limited number of witty or original jokes.
There's a risk of reader fatigue, so perhaps spacing out your reading sessions would be beneficial. In line with the opinions of Chinese readers, this book caters more to those who enjoy comedy. For those who prioritize intricate plots and complex characters, it might not be the best choice.
Nonetheless, I'd recommend this to comedy enthusiasts, especially for those who are open to giving it a try, even if the storytelling and character development aren't their primary concern.
Overall, I find it decent but not a standout masterpiece, despite overlooking its shortcomings, or those I perceive as such. Primarily, it revolves around a criminal underworld, with acting secondary to the narrative. This approach might enhance the story for some, but opinions vary. The acting serves to showcase the protagonist's character development compared to his previous life and to deepen connections with supporting characters.
The standard trope of a transmigrated protagonist attracting the main love interest due to a changed demeanor is present, but what sets this apart is the MC's acceptance of their shared criminal background. It's not about reformation or conforming to societal norms; the gang remains unapologetically "bad," and while the MC doesn't actively join, they are significantly influenced by it. They're a proactive character who saves the ML, not just waiting to be rescued.
There are spoilers ahead:
In the story, there are intense violent scenes, particularly in chapters 3, 4, and 6, where the MC takes decisive action (deservedly so, according to the text). The crime world backdrop inevitably includes melodramatic elements and occasional coincidences, which detract from the overall experience slightly, but not drastically.
I found the book engaging and relatively fast-paced. My rating would place it somewhere between 4 and 4.5, though not definitively. There are also steamy scenes in chapters 50, 51a, and 57, which might have nudged the score up a notch.
In summary, while it's not a groundbreaking work, it offers a compelling blend of crime, character growth, and a unique take on the transmigration theme, with a touch of romance and a few unexpected twists.
Great! I really like it. It's such a unique concept. Here's a rephrased version:
"Intriguing! The setting features a hauntingly ruled city, where supernatural ghosts and terrors hold sway. Our protagonist finds themselves casually browsing the stock market amidst all this otherworldly activity."
This intriguing novel, "Apocalypse: By the亿吨食品添加剂囤积," captivates with its unique premise. The protagonist's relentless quest to amass a billion food additives serves as a chilling metaphor for our society's obsession. The plot twists keep readers on edge, questioning the ethical implications of survival in a dystopian world. The author's vivid descriptions create a haunting atmosphere that stays with you long after the last page. While the subject matter might be unsettling, it's a thought-provoking read that challenges our perceptions about consumer culture and the consequences of unchecked greed. Highly recommended for those who enjoy a gripping tale with a pinch of dystopian spice.
"Global Tamer: My Tamed Beasts Are All Humanoids" is a captivating and thought-provoking novel that explores the intricate boundaries between humanity, technology, and the evolving nature of relationships. Set in a futuristic world, the story revolves around a protagonist who possesses the unique ability to bond with and control advanced humanoid robots, or 'beasts,' designed to serve society.
The narrative delves into themes of identity, morality, and the ethics of artificial life. As the protagonist navigates the complexities of their powers, they grapple with questions about the line between creator and creation, the responsibilities that come with taming such advanced beings, and the emotional connections formed between humans and their robotic companions. The author skillfully blurs the lines between empathy and control, forcing readers to confront the blurred lines between organic and synthetic life.
This novel challenges our perceptions of what it means to be alive and the consequences of playing god. It invites introspection on the role of technology in shaping society and the potential consequences when we blur the line between animate and inanimate. Through its engaging characters and immersive world-building, "Global Tamer" leaves readers pondering the implications of a future where humanity's creations may surpass our own limitations.
Ultimately, it's a compelling read that not only entertains but also provokes meaningful discussions on the evolution of humanity, the power of connection, and the responsibility we have in shaping the world around us.
Okay, I caught up. Here's what to expect: First this novel is slow and building some parts of the world, learning about characters, explanation about how Mc get stronger, and lots and lots of interview. Like straight up reporting everything you do down to the way you sht. I pity Mc for all that paperwork. Second, early on characters is all wholesome. Like straight up no evil third rate piece of trash that's spoiled and don't have a father figure. Later on they appear tho. It's like the tutorial everyone is good but then when you reach the upper stuff you see the pricks finally emerge. Third it's pretty good novel a 9/10 not perfect specially since there's fillers that I saw that author could had added more lore to the world during it but didn't. Adds substance to the characters tho. Fourth just skip my wholesome comments. they're too wholesome for some people? also the Harem ain't so bad
You will not get bored. The pacing of the story is just right, but I am a little dissatisifed with th ending. I feel like it's a bit rush. Overall, I enjoy this novel ?
