There's this one moment where Wen Lan looks up at the 'luxurious crystal chandelier overhead' and suddenly feels like 'a kept husband living off someone else's wealth.' That single image does SO much work. It's not just describing the house—it's capturing her entire emotional state in one glance upward. The contrast between the two families is painted so clearly. The Wen family of Wujiang City: 'nothing more than an ordinary wealthy family,' built over decades, mom started from scratch. Then the Lu family: 'one of Shang City's most prestigious old families,' spanning real estate, finance, entertainment, medical, education. 'Strongly supported by the state.' The gap isn't just money—it's generations of entrenched power vs. new money. And Wen Lan is sitting in THEIR house, under THEIR chandelier, trying to process that her legal husband is basically a CEO-tier patriarch. The toy room scene is also gorgeous in its simplicity. Wen Lan watching Wen Wu play, the child 'drenched in sweat,' the quiet villa, Uncle Xiao replacing flowers like it's just another Tuesday in this enormous house. It feels lived-in. Not like a set, but like a real home where people actually exist. The cartoon channel playing in the background while Wen Lan searches Qiandu—those small details make the world breathe.
I need to talk about Shi Muchuan because this man is doing SO MUCH. First, he spots Yun Shu lying by the roadside after the car accident and literally jumps out of an ambulance to save her. Then he insists she stay in the hospital overnight even though she's trying to leave. He checks on her, makes decisions for her, and when she shows up at the restaurant and gets attacked, he's THERE AGAIN. I know this is supposed to be some kind of fate or system manipulation, but from his perspective, this is just... he keeps running toward her when she's in danger. And the way he handles her when she faints—giving her rescue breaths, doing CPR, ordering people to call an ambulance. He doesn't hesitate. He doesn't make it weird. He just acts. That says something about his character. Meanwhile, Yun Shu is this quiet, resilient girl who keeps getting into trouble and trying to handle everything alone. She won't tell anyone about the system. She won't let her brother know she's working. She just smiles and says she's fine while internally panicking. Their dynamic is so interesting because on one hand, he's her doctor and clearly cares about her as a patient. But there's something more there too—the way he notices her pale lips, the way he frowns when he learns she has no family around, the warmth she feels when she watches him leave. And she hasn't even told him about the system using its energy to save her. That secret is going to come out eventually and it's going to change everything. Also, can we talk about Yun Ruizhe? He's the best brother. He's furious that his parents sent Yun Shu away, he's worried about her health, and he's already planning to look after her himself. The contrast between him and Yun Shanshan is brutal—he's kind and protective, and his biological sister is a nightmare. I wonder if the author is setting up some kind of sibling rivalry or if Yun Shanshan will have a redemption arc. Either way, I'm here for it.
Guys, it's worth it to make your bank account penniless for this novel. . ... ... in one words this novel is.... ?PEAK?
In my opinion it's good novel and has interesting story development potential, since the amount of chapter still little so I can't say much I just hope that this novel can continue to give stable updates and reach success that the author want.
i really love this story, the world building is complex. but still, i have question about their awareness like do people from inner part of each continent know each other?

Hermanos! this book is really good. solid world building with a great mc. I'd be lying if I didn't say I wish the mc was a little stronger, but he's doing great with what he has. also, the authors writing is pretty solid compared to others on this app! Great book, and you should definitely add to your library! ?
waiting for more chapters, keep it up author.
I have a question… a very important one…. Is there NSFW chapters between the female lead and the male leads…. Other than in the side story?
