Okay so let me just say—Consort Tian is one of the most quietly terrifying characters I've encountered in this genre, and this chapter is her masterpiece. The way she operates is chilling because she never raises her voice. She sends Mama Wang to poison Su Yunzhao's soup, gets exposed, and then immediately sends a messenger saying Mama Wang was expelled and it was all due to her 'kindness.' Kindness! She weaponizes her own supposed virtue as a defense. And then the real genius: she tells Su Yunxiu to accompany the prince to visit the elder instead of going to the palace herself. That's not a reward, that's a punishment wrapped in silk. Su Yunxiu is seething but Consort Tian doesn't even break stride. But what really got me is the mother-daughter dynamic between Consort Tian and Su Yunxiu. Su Yunxiu literally says she would have 'begged Father and my brothers to beat her to death' if this were back in the Su family. And Consort Tian's response? A sip of tea. She doesn't defend Su Yunzhao, she doesn't scold Su Yunxiu for her violence, she just lets the silence do the work. She's using Su Yunxiu as a blunt instrument and then discarding her when the blade gets too obvious. And Xiao Jinyao! The heir apparent himself—when Consort Tian's people come to reprimand Su Yunzhao about Lamei, he doesn't negotiate. He threatens to bring palace maids into the An Wangfu to 'teach them proper etiquette.' That's not just defending his wife, that's a declaration of war against Consort Tian's entire household management. The alliance between Su Yunzhao and Xiao Jinyao is forming in real time and it's electric.
This is a strong foundation for a dark fantasy/dystopian world with rich storytelling potential. The world background is well built. The author made it seem like easy but the suspense is hard to catch. Looking forward to it.

Hello, Blizzard here!As the author of this book, I love it and am sure you are going to love it too. Don't believe me? Then give it a try.Now, some things to note.1) From my experience, I know readers don't like a pure smut novel (there are always exceptions though) and need a good story to go along with it so they can enjoy both things better. So, the storyline is main in this book and lemons and other things are there only to enhance and make the story more enjoyable.2) MC's Harem will be big and by the end of the story, he will have more than 10+ women.3)They all will have a deep relationship with him, and will be an important part of the storyline.Note: There is no poison like NTR i or Yuri in the story. But it will have netori and MC will have a few one night stands too because not everyone he has s*x will become his women.But, Let me say this again, this is a story based novel, so expect the number of smut chapters to be low (at least lower than my Lust System book?) Updates will be stable, 7-14 chapter/week.Now, if you have any other questions, feel free to ask below. I'll try to answer all of them.
This is actually pretty great so far. I wish there was more system interaction and more development in the free chapters. Sadly, I dont pay to play so I'll have to hope for a release elsewhere.

Overall, I like kingdom building stories that take modern elements and apply them to a different world and this has that. That characters are written well and I do enjoy the story. If I had to give some advise it would be to get a thesaurus or use chatgbt to give the author suggestions so I’m not reading the same phrases over and over again. If I tried to play a drinking game and had to drink everytime I read gravity, weighted, measured, or tone, I’d have died in the first ten chapters. But I’m sticking with it for now.
