another typical chinese mc he is born vampire but to save a human woman and her daughter(total strangers btw) he went on to offend the strongest existence in the vampiric rmpire when he himself was weak and a vampire? its not like the vampires treated him badly or bullied him nah he saw a woman in trouble and his chinese morals took over this story would have been so much better if he just minded his own fricking business
the idea is simply wonderful. however, I feel like the implementation could have been better. there are multiple things that don't make much sense. I will only like to warn others that the start of the novel is a bit fast-paced and according to the script seems like the rest of it would be too. there seems to be present a sense of urgency but I believe its execution was not good enough.
Very good novel. It is an enjoyable and honest reading without any pretention. Similar to other cultivation works, the author amazingly made it his. With originality in his style and the delivery of the contents. It keeps getting better with time like a fine wine. There is no filling unlike many novel up there, each word has it purpose. At the end of a chapter, instead of being like : "That's it ? But what just happened ? The MC just moved one foot and that's all ?
This is likely the lowest score I've ever given a novel. The translation quality is fine, no issues there. The update schedule is, however shocking for a 3k+ total chapter count. At this point in time the chapters are coming out 1/week which is nearly useless.The story follows a 'This happened so I did this' type writing style. To take an example the MC finds a chain so he grabs it and runs. He finds out the chain is firmly secured to SOMETHING (doesn't check what) so he summons his dragon to pull it. That doesn't work so he does this. Then that happens and he does this. An extraordinarily boring thing to read, at least in my opinion.The character relies on bull**** luck to accomplish everything. His family is rich and his Mom owns the game. Basically this character has the thickest plot armour I've ever seen.
MC is very irritable. It seems that author is trying to make him "funny" but is failing miserably. I tried to give it a chance by trying to read ahead after skipping a few chapters. But the story is slow so I don't even believe there will be character development.MC keeps complaining at how he has got it bad in every chapter. He is even worse that beta MCs.
If you want to read about a brainwashed Mc be my guest.I don't care about the development, it happened because the MC was brainwashed. His free will and personality is gone. In its stead we have a goody 2 shoes.
A subpar novel that introduces nothing new to the genre. Main character spends more time trading insults with other people than forging. For whatever reason enemies pop out left and right regardless of age. 2.5/5 stars.
Legit one of my all-time favorite novels. Overlord vibes with a real expert instead. MC loves to act like a stereotypical xianxia god cultivator and I love it. The author has also set up the world for the story to reach a decent length. The only complaint might be a lack of romance, but that's kinda personal.

Cause that's pretty much every single wuxia novel in a nut. How tf they manage to extend the plot past 1000 chapters is beyond me but they make it work (sorta). This novel started with so much potential then it got drained or thrown out because it became your generic novel where MC gets looked down by his enemies and if he almost defeats said enemy said enemy's family will try to kill MC rince and repeat plus it is so cringe that i dropped it. I do not know how this became one of highest rated novels at qidian it is so generic and cliche. Only good thing of this novel is YU SHENG bless the author for making a badass side kick alas he is not the MC the MC is your typical fated to be hero and looks so handsome he would burst every females ovaries. The translation is good but the story itself is SH*T if you want to waste your time go ahead and read this but if you want a real novel go read Release that Witch
