Okay, can we just talk about how Huo Zhili completely misreads the situation for twenty-six years? He literally thinks this is the same old dance—she gets mad, he says he's tired, and then she comes back with reddened eyes apologizing because she loves him too much. The fact that he texts Lou Minghe "Qingyu has gone back" like it's a routine status update is both hilarious and deeply tragic. He has no idea he just lost her. And Yu Qingyu? The woman who loved him for twenty-six years, pursued him for two, and gave him over a year of her life—she doesn't slam doors or make scenes. She just... leaves. Quietly. Puts the wine glass back on the tray without spilling a drop. That detail hit me so hard. It's like she's carefully preserving every ounce of dignity she has left while her entire world collapses inside. The brother dynamic with Lou Minghe is also so interesting. He's the voice of reason, the one who's been watching this disaster unfold, and when Yu Qingyu finally tells him she's accepting Johns Hopkins, his relief is palpable. "Whatever decision you make, I'll support you." Meanwhile, Huo Zhili is sitting in his study tapping his fingers on the desk, feeling this vague sense of void but having no idea what caused it. The contrast between these two men's awareness levels is just *chef's kiss*.
Okay so let me just say this immediately: Ye Junfei is the most unhinged character I have EVER encountered in a novel and I am OBSESSED. The man shows up in a fox mask asking to drink a girl's blood like it's a casual request at a tea house. "Miss, can I drink your blood?" He says it so politely! And when she tries to kill him with an axe, he just... catches it. With two fingers. Then he pins her down and literally LICKS her face. "So sweet!" Lin Xiuyan's reaction of pure internal screaming while maintaining a smile on the outside? Chef's kiss. But here's what got me — the dynamic between these two is NOT what I expected. I thought she'd be scared and he'd be the dominant creep, but NO. She's the one swinging axes and kneeing him in the groin and STRIPPING HIS ROBE OFF. She's the one with the quick mind, figuring out his cultivation deviation and using it as leverage. She's literally negotiating for her life by offering to find him a magical herb instead of dying. And Ye Junfei? He's not just some generic psycho love interest. The author made him genuinely dangerous — his bloodline is out of control, he can't stay more than ten feet from her without his energy churning, and he's clearly been searching for someone like her. There's something almost vulnerable underneath all the menace, even if he'd never admit it. Then there's Zhou Chenyang, the fiancé who sold her. The moment Lin Xiuyan punches him in the face in Chapter 2? I literally screamed. Ten years of devotion, her family destroyed, her arm severed, and he looked at her like SHE was the problem for smiling. "Love you? Are you worthy?" What a piece of work. The fact that she had to play along and pretend to be weak and coy just to get close enough to punch him — that's not revenge, that's tactical brilliance. The love triangle here is already set up in the most toxic way possible, and I cannot wait to see how it develops.
interesting story, i am down for it , waiting for more chapters
Very bad starting as author makes mc looks like a mental patient, he behaves pathetically and still calls other people pathetic. Always angry and complaining... Author could have used 2 to 3 chapters in transmigrating but he takes he's time as if testing the patience of readers making the whole 15 chapters before he can even start something. I mean i get the plot okay? But you could have used many other ways to start a story instead of prolonging the chapters over hospital.. Then chatting with righteous one... Etc.
Yay, first review! The author is clear and concise! The novel is interesting! Everyone should give this novel a chance! A must read!
writing this when it has 10 chapters only and I have to say good stuff, reminds me of release that witch for some reason even though there is no similarity.maybe the witch hunting and hate for magic is what reminds me of thatbut whatever good stuffand also reminds me of attack on titans don't ask me howidk
Absolutely captivating! Having delved into the few available chapters, I found myself completely enthralled by this novel. The theme resonates deeply with me, making it one of my favorites. Our female protagonist, Su Xuan, embarks on an emotional rollercoaster that is both poignant and relatable. What truly sets her apart is her ability to draw strength from her vulnerabilities; she embodies efficiency and practicality. The character development is seamless and engaging, making it easy for readers to connect with her journey.Kudos to the author for crafting such a compelling narrative! I eagerly anticipate the upcoming chapters, as I am genuinely invested in seeing how Su Xuan navigates her challenging circumstances and reclaims what rightfully belongs to her. This is a story you won't want to miss!?
One of the best novels you'll find on this site! Although it's upcoming, all novels started from such stages too.bro please don't drop pleeeeeeaassssee
Everytime I think you have reached the peak of your writing ability, you prove me wrong by pushing your pen another notch higher. this book is a beautiful representation of your top notch ability as an author. I have never read a werewolf book like this.... the powers are soooo attractive. I like how powerful abilities have downsides. that makes it more realistic. then the dramatic characters. they are the lifeline of the story. I just wanna be with them till the end. I love love love this book
Really catchy book, can't wait for the plot to unfold
the story is so beautiful. there are only five ch released right now but the world building is so great. btw not to brag but i know the author and the character jahanox is inspired by me
It's an interesting story with good writing quality. The MC is a very goal-oriented person and quite ruthless, so yeah the villain tag has been given justice. I enjoy these kind of mcs because they make the MC unpredictable, others may have different opinions. I also like how information about the world’s background is not dumped on us all at once but is instead introduced gradually, which makes it more enjoyable. In end i would suggest this to anyone who liks villain mcs .
