Let me just say this: the pacing in these chapters is masterful. The author doesn't rush any of the emotional beats. We go from Sheng Qianyu arriving at the Zhao home, to dinner, to the quiet revelation about her old room being taken over, to Qin Fang lying awake at night—each moment gets exactly the time it needs. What I love most is how the tension builds through domestic details rather than dramatic confrontations. The dismissed housekeeper Aunt Zhang? Mentioned in passing but it hangs in the air. The leftovers that nobody touches? A whole metaphor for the family's emotional state right there. And that scene where Sheng Qianyu goes to fetch medicine and encounters the compound gossip—perfectly placed to remind us that this family's drama isn't contained within four walls. The chapter transitions are smooth too. We move from the evening meal to the next morning naturally, with Sheng Qianyu already up before dawn. There's no jarring jump, no info-dump to slow things down. The author trusts the reader to keep up. If I had one tiny complaint, it's that the backstory about the Song family and the arranged marriage comes at the end like a cliffhanger tease. But honestly, it works—it leaves you wanting to turn the page immediately. The pacing of revelations is spot-on: enough to keep you engaged, not so much that you're overwhelmed.
nice and well done live long life and give us more story like this
hola people, this book is like about friends fighting each other. By hte way if story changes forgive me because for now only 1 chapter is there which I read. thank you
so far one of the best reads, hope the author will continue writing. has a great potential, from the world building and character development not be the best but one of the greats.
Honestly, This a pretty good read, I am extremely dyslexic and I learned how to read just to read this. After the 7th chapter my failure to get an erection was solved, a story has never made me more excited than this. - Meganut Kingdom
A gripping story with deep worldbuilding and high stakes. The tension is constant, the mystery intriguing, and the protagonist’s struggle feels real. Definitely worth reading!
What can I say, the moment I saw that titles it's clear what I was getting myself into. Its a good read so far.
With some world building and charcter design it can be improved. with this speed of story progression it feels more like Ai generated.

So I thought I would throw this in here as a little questions page.• I make daily updates on this book. Sometimes it will be two chapters one day, sometimes it will be only one 1500 chapter that day.• Main characters name is pronounced AIR-em • I am also going through and editing all of the previous chapters that are currently out. I’m still a learning wither so every time I learn something new, I apply it.• If you decide to read this book as I write it you can watch the story grow or something.Thank you for reading this! Hope you enjoy my book!
