I read the initial versions of this and, even then, I saw the potential this story had. It was just so fun. It has some of the tropes (betrayals, contract marriage) but Hans molded them creatively. Whether it is the plot, execution, or the characters (love you, manbun), it is guaranteed to be a fresh read amidst the overtly-similar stories of this genre.

some people deserve to be cut out of your life
I'm about 10 chapters in and i have to say i love this novel already. from the second chapter I loved the atmosphere that the author was creating in a similar vein to lotm by introducing an elder horror of some kind. no grammar or spelling mistakes either which is a godsend since that's what brings most of the new novels here down many points for me. can't wait to fully catch up cause i can feel this will be a future hit!
does hypnosis hook me? I hope that it won't let me down because it has such a good concept. for now, I'll give it a five stars, I will change it as the story progresses. I'm looking forward to the execution of the story.
Off to a great start! I love the premise and the details. There are a few run-on sentences; however, it’s nothing serious. This book is off to a promising start.
Well like others I wanted to like this story but it was just so hollow. Things just happen and there is no development of anykind. Honestly this feels more like a draft then a propper story.
"Did you know Fritz--"
Illyana and Jessica were standing off to the side, both trying to get away from the depressive mood that filled the air. But that was everywhere. Now that the fighting had stopped, people had begun to meander out into the streets, those that could anyway.
