Okay so I need to talk about this plot twist because HOLY. The chapter starts with this deeply emotional grave visit, right? Qin Ziheng is pouring his heart out to his dead grandfather, talking about how he never wanted to be a burden, how he worked so hard to make him proud. And then—BAM—he's driving home in the rain, phone rings, he glances at it, and some guy sprints out with arms wide to stop the car. Car goes off the road, rolls down a slope, and then... we get this surreal vision of Grandpa Qin carrying young Bao Wa on his back, walking into the mist. And then Qin Ziheng just... closes his eyes. I'm not even sure if he survived that crash. The text ends on this ambiguous note where he's seeing his grandfather like a near-death vision, and then it CUTS to an entirely different story about some tribal guy named Mao Xiaoshu eating sour fruit. Like, what? One second we're in modern China with a car accident, the next we're in some prehistoric tribe? Is this a time travel thing? A reincarnation? I literally dropped my phone. The narrative just pivots so hard I had to re-read it three times to make sure I wasn't hallucinating.
Let me just say this: the author knows how to paint a scene without trying too hard. The garden description is so specific and so understated at the same time. 'The tree was lush with branches and leaves, and only a few rays of sunlight penetrated through, casting a near-circular shadow in the vibrant garden.' That near-circular shadow — it's like a spotlight on Ning Yichu without the author ever saying 'he was the center of attention.' And He Shixia's perspective of him: 'He Shixia looked at his thin figure and skin so pale it was almost transparent, feeling as if he were seeing a fragile butterfly about to take flight. The butterfly fluttered among the flowers, seemingly ready to fall from exhaustion at any moment.' This is such a loaded metaphor because Ning Yichu is absolutely NOT fragile. He's been cutting rope with a utility knife while injured since he was eight. He outsmarted the entire Ning family. But from the outside, from He Shixia's view, he looks like he could break. And that's the tragedy of it — Ning Yichu has spent his whole life looking like something that needs protecting when he's actually the most dangerous person in the room. The swing maintenance detail is also brilliant worldbuilding — 'No one in the He family had played on it for a long time, but no one had thought to dismantle it either. So when the servants tidied the garden, they occasionally maintained the swing, preventing it from falling into disrepair and breaking when someone sat on it.' Nobody played on it, but nobody got rid of it either. It just... waited. Like so many things in Ning Yichu's life. It was maintained by strangers, kept functional by people who didn't know who would eventually use it. That's honestly kind of beautiful in a melancholy way.
Omegaverse story!!!! Yey, just my vibe! I love it. Keep on writing. Looks so interesting. I can't wait to see how this story ends. Thank you for your hard work.
I'm officially obsessed! This novel has me giggling, kicking my feet, and squealing like a caffeinated squirrel. I hate to be that person, but with only 7 chapters out, I’m suffering. Please, for the love of all things binge-worthy, drop more chapters—I need my fix!

Amazing story! Going to give this 5 stars because I'll definitely be reading it again! And I'll be on the lookout for new chapters that are hopefully coming in the future! :D
This is good! I haven’t read much CEO trope but I can’t wait for the next chapters!
The synopsis itself was so eye-catching; I had to take a look. The story has a fantastic start, exactly what I expected and better. Definitely a gem in the making.
Adding a review to help the author out - book is competing in contest. Love this book. Fast-paced action, sX with hot warrior girls who are using them. Mutant creatures to battle along the way. An evil emperor hunting them down. If you like smut, do yourself a favour and read chapters 30 and 31 ;) Good luck author, you have my vote!
The first chapter is already intriguing, with great pacing and a compelling narrative that draws the reader in. I thought the story was going to leave me hanging with that 'oh là là' scene, but I'm definitely hooked!♡♡
