Okay so I need to talk about this whole dynamic between Feng Qianqian and Nangong Li because it is ABSOLUTELY CHAOTIC and I am here for it. Like, picture this: she's treating his wounds, pinching his abs (and I quote: 'Not bad at all!'), and he's lying there comatose but fully conscious, internally screaming 'Bold enchantress, how dare you take liberties with this prince?' Meanwhile she's just out here living her best life like it's no big deal. The moment that absolutely destroyed me was when she does the mouth-to-mouth medicine thing and her internal thought is 'Amitabha, form is emptiness, emptiness is form. Men are only for playful dalliance, not for matters of the heart!' And Nangong Li's internal response is basically 'What does she mean, men are for playful dalliance? What does she take me for, a male courtesan?' I literally fell off my chair. The fact that he's simultaneously offended AND grateful because 'the excruciating pain that had plagued his bones began to slowly lessen—something he hadn't experienced in years' is peak rom-com energy. But then the whole tombstone scene hits completely different. She's crying over her grandfather's grave and he's lying there unable to move, feeling this 'pang of heartache' for a stranger. And when she disappears into that hole? His first thought isn't about his own safety—he's calling out 'Little demoness, where are you?' That's not the reaction of someone who just wants to get rid of an annoying medic. That's the reaction of someone who's already way too invested. I'm not saying it's romance, I'm just saying... it's definitely something.
Okay, can we just appreciate the imagery in this chapter? The moment Mo Fei finishes transferring everything into her space and the upgrade hits — the description is GORGEOUS. The little stream that was only one meter wide becomes a small river. Land appears hundreds of meters away. And it's BLACK SOIL. The author specifically calls it "the most fertile black soil in the world, just like the farmland Mo Fei had seen during this trip to Hei City." That connection between the real world and her space is so deliberate and beautiful. She literally brought the fertility of Hei City's land into her sanctuary. And earlier, when she's standing among all those tons of grain: "She had a vague feeling that the amount of grain in front of her was far more than what ¥200,000 should have bought." The mountain of supplies before her. I could literally SEE this scene. It's cinematic. The final image of the chapter though — the two of them standing in the shade outside the warehouse, dark clouds gathering, gazing toward the horizon — that's pure movie material. You don't need dialogue. The atmosphere does all the work. The unspoken understanding between them, the approaching storm, the uncertainty of what's coming. The author paints this entire apocalyptic mood with just a few lines and I was completely immersed.
Let me just say this clearly: Ling Yu is the most misunderstood man in fiction and I am exhausted that nobody is talking about it. On the surface, he's the stingy husband who won't let his wife eat a chicken leg. But read the actual text—HE NOTICED her stomach was fragile. He saw her eat meat the night before, watched her suffer through the night, and the NEXT MORNING he cooked porridge instead of reheating the chicken. That's not stinginess. That's someone who pays attention and acts on it, even if he's terrible at communicating it. And the bathing scene? He's teasing her, sure, but he's also literally trying to build intimacy with a woman who just told him she wants to divorce him. He says 'I'll make sure you live well and you'll always have enough to eat' and she immediately thinks he's lying because of ONE CHICKEN LEG. The miscommunication between these two is honestly painful. Then there's Ling Zixiao, who's just... sweet? He comes home early specifically because his brother told him to check on his sister-in-law. The family dynamics here are actually really warm underneath all the friction.

An incredibly beautiful novel. I hope it reaches as many readers as possible to gain popularity, even become a manga, and that the author receives some support for their efforts to complete this artistic masterpiece.
it's an AMAZING story so far! kinda remind me of Arcane , or maybe this is inspired by arcane ?? anycase the flow and world building setting was great too!if your's interested , of MC weak to strongest. you should read this one out! it has potential?
This is totally epic! It is fascinating to follow Mo Wuyuan's journey from betrayed outcast to unstoppable vengeance. There will be a lot of action, strong feelings, and an unforgettable protagonist in this type of story!
I'm interested about those scarlet flames
I really like the characters and the fourth wall breaks from the MC. I like his past it reminds me of Re zero and Mushoku Tensei. I wish the upload schedule was a bit better though but keep up the good work man ?
Honestly I love this novel,i love your uniqueness of writing the content
The world building is top notch. I LOVE IT The story also has a perfect pace but could you maybe use simpler grammar to make it more reader friendly
Author-san, the story idea is really cool. I absolutely loved it!! ? Also it would be better if you could divide it into smaller paragraphs. It could help the readers understand the pacing and atmosphere of the story. By the way, the name of the character got mixed up a bit. The first time it was Shinya, then it became Shen Yu. Please correct that as well. Anyways, looking forward to the release of the next chapters.
