I'm not going to lie — the scene where Fu Xiao gives his daughter three low-grade spirit stones as travel money actually hit me harder than I expected. Here's this Demon Lord, ruler of the underworld, who is completely out of his depth as a parent, pulling out three dull gray stones with the solemnity of a man making the greatest sacrifice of his life. "These are three low-grade spirit stones! Buy whatever you want! If it's not enough... then spend it conservatively." He means well. He really does. But the tragedy is that he genuinely doesn't understand how little three spirit stones are. He thinks he's giving her a fortune. And Fu Pin — three years old, smart enough to understand the math — just takes them and says "Got it" because she loves her dad and doesn't want to hurt his feelings. That moment where she looks at the spirit stones in her hand, then at her dad's serious eyes, and internally narrates "A father's love is as heavy as a mountain — so heavy it chokes you" — that's the emotional core of the entire opening arc. It's funny, yes. But it's also genuinely tender. And the ferryman scene! This random demon who could have just turned her away instead says "You're fleeing from the Demon Realm too, aren't you?" with actual sympathy. And then accepts her Nether Iron Ore and lets her pass. The world is harsh but there are these small moments of kindness that keep the story from becoming purely comedic. I'm already emotionally invested in this family and we haven't even met the mom yet.
The pacing in these chapters is absolutely wild. You go from a scene where a guy gets his heart literally ripped out of his chest—"a splash of bright red bloomed, staining the ground"—to Xia Miao delivering a full-on romantic confession like she's at a dating show. The tonal whiplash is intentional and it WORKS. The author knows exactly when to hit you with horror and when to pull back for comedy. Chapter 2 starts with the aftermath, the survival room, the mockery of Lin Gaoshan—then BAM, Xia Miao kicks him in the groin and struts upstairs. The transition from the executioner dorm scene (Old Gardener trimming plants while a headless woman digs through skulls—such a vivid, unsettling image) back to the bandaged boy's rage is perfectly timed. And that ending with the shadow boy getting accidentally dumped? Perfect cliffhanger. It leaves you wanting the next chapter immediately. The only thing I'd say is that the classroom/daytime scenes feel slightly rushed compared to the night scenes, but honestly, the author is building this world efficiently without bogging down. Every scene serves a purpose.
'It was Ruan Qingli's scent.' Three words. That's all it took to make me sit there staring at my screen like an absolute idiot. Han Sheng wrapping himself in the quilt Ali made and smelling her jasmine on it — and then realizing the door was broken so there was nothing separating them anymore except 'their own conscience.' The author wrote 'And she trusted something as unreliable as conscience without the slightest hesitation. This girl... She was far too innocent.' And I just... I felt everything. The way Han Sheng stays up worrying about whether she's safe, kicks the door down thinking she's being held hostage, then turns around so fast he almost gives her a heart attack. He's a constable, he's seen terrible things, but the moment he sees her half-dressed and glistening with water droplets, he can't even look at her. He's not some cold martial artist archetype, he's a guy who's genuinely flustered by a woman he's developing feelings for. And Ali — she makes him breakfast, she makes him quilts, she sleeps peacefully in a room with an unlocked door because she trusts him. The romantic tension here isn't built on grand declarations, it's built on cotton batting and jasmine and a broken wooden door.
Veer on Titan is a captivating sci-fi tale that follows the evolution of a young boy, Veer, as he learns to survive and thrive on the harsh moon of Titan. His gradual transformation from an unsure boy to a capable individual is portrayed with depth and emotion.
That a nice story, but the beginning of the next chapter about precious it got me emotional, the cat, the priest and the female lead is something. Well nice story, I really love it.
ALL I CAN SAY ISSS This book is *fire*!? The world-building? On point. The mana system? So cool. And the characters? *Chef’s kiss!* Austin’s logical, Lucian’s discovering new abilities, and Yanika? Absolute queen with that competitive spark! The tension builds perfectly—especially when the upperclassmen roll in (chills!). It’s got mystery, action, and *feels* all wrapped up in smooth storytelling. If you love magic, surprises, and characters that *pop*, this one’s a must-read!✨
It's been a while since I gave a full 5 stars. This novel is simply awesome. Fantastic game world mixed with reality because it might be one and the same. Readers need to give the storyline time to play out instead of jumping to conclusions like many have. Really lookin forward to much much more! (current chapter is 183). This novel deserves to be in the top 5.
Great book, the author takes time to,develop background, characters, storyline build up. It's not rushed,,it flows and very eell paced. just wish the updates were a bit more stable otherwise, I will continue to support?
A wonderful, exciting and beautiful book, although I am not a big fan of horror, but even the love affair between Gabriel and Rose gave a great dramatic dimension to the book ?????and the action was also great. It is a complex book, not just a story for me to scare people. Good luck. ??
a shameless author was bornbut, Writing Lost in Fatal Existence has been an incredible journey, and I’m truly grateful to everyone who takes the time to read and share their thoughts. This story is a mix of mystery, adventure, and deep emotions—something I’ve poured my heart into. It’s not perfect, but every chapter is a step toward making it better.I appreciate every reader who sticks with the story, whether you're here for the world-building, the characters, or just the thrill of the unknown. Your feedback, whether it’s praise or constructive criticism, helps me improve and keeps me motivated to continue writing. So, to all of you reading, thank you! I hope you enjoy the journey as much as I enjoy writing it. Let’s see where Lost in Fatal Existence takes us next!

Ok so I'm writing a review about my novel to say a few things. This is a story about Rhett, who, living in an earth teeming with monsters and rare creatures due to some portals slays an ice dragon out of self defense and is made king of the dragon slayers by the dragon slayers. So he slays dragons and levels up his system like ability. So this novel of mine is quite unique, although it follows most of the troupes, I wrote something I think is quite a masterpiece. The MC is certainly not overpowered so don't worry, I gotcha. He will be powerful but not like a demigod. Also, he won't be a suffering type, he might suffer but I won't craft them into long hefty arcs and make you bored. The first chapters might be a little too rushed and jumpy but go through, I made them so for a purpose and you'll thank me later in the novel. The MC’s system appears simple and not too interesting at first but trust me, it will be in the later chapters after he attains a rank.No harem, there will be romance but I won't focus too much on it. Also, this is a plot twisting novel so be expecting some plot twists and mysteries. And before you drop the novel or give it a bad review, I'll plead you read all the free chapters first. This is my first novel, so don't expect it to be perfect. I can assure you it's good but not perfect. The story also has quite a world building which will impress you(I hope). Overall, this is a unique story with intricate characters and a sort of pragmatic approach to events. Also, treat this as a QA and I'll do my best to answer all the questions asked.Happy reading!.
