That's such a natural, organic moment that doesn't feel forced at all. Fu Chuan's lines are great too—humble but not pathetic anymore. "Not just love—family, friendship too" when Shen Shutang talks about mutual effort in relationships? That line hit because it shows how much he's grown. His voice has matured. Compare that to how he probably spoke in earlier chapters and it's night and day. Fu Zichen's dialogue is equally effective for what he is—a manipulator who thinks he's clever. His fake pitiful act with Shen Shutang, the way he says "Senior Fu, Senior Shen, what a coincidence!" with that forced smile? You can practically hear the desperation underneath. And Qin Jian's lines are gloriously sharp. "I don't even want to spend money on me"—no wait, her whole attitude is just perfectly spoiled heiress. Every character sounds like themselves.

The story revolves around a guy who is suddenly trapped inside a store with no other option but to develop it.However, he will quickly realize that this store is very different from normal ones. I love how deep the lore goes in Souless, but there were a couple of moments where I felt like a little more clarity would’ve helped—especially when new terms or entities were introduced. A touch more grounding in those moments could make the world feel even more accessible without losing its complexity.

This book as had me hooked since I started reading it. The perfect blend of character development action and backstory. An amazing read from start to finish. I think this novel will be officially published and promptly turned in to a movie in the future.
