There's so much going on beneath the surface of this passage that I want to unpack. Let me start with the cockpit itself—it's not just a setting, it's a symbol of everything Xu Lian is excluded from. She's an F-class pilot, the lowest possible rank, and Song Jinze's cockpit is described with such reverence: 'Spacious. Bright. Look at the materials. Look at the texture. Look at the massive display. Look at the seats—premium!' She's literally touching everything like a child in a museum, and the author makes it clear this is the most advanced technology she's ever seen. The cockpit represents the entire system that keeps her class status rigid and unchanging. And yet—she's sitting in it. She's touching it. She's asking to see it 'fire.' The irony is thick enough to cut with a knife. Then there's the whole 'firing' misunderstanding, which I think is deeply symbolic on a level the author may or may not have intended. Xu Lian wants to see power unleashed—literally, the power of an S-class pilot in action. Song Jinze interprets this as intimacy, as being let into something personal. Both are wrong, and both are right. The scene becomes about who gets to control the narrative of power and access. The truth serum scene introduces another layer of symbolism. The syringe, the disinfectant, the binding straps—these are all instruments of control, and they're applied to Xu Lian's body specifically because her body is where her secret lives. The codes on her bracelet, her true identity, her connection to Lin Zhaocai—all of it is encoded in something physical that can be extracted through physical means. And Song Jinze's reaction to being laughed at? He doesn't argue. He doesn't yell. He goes for the most invasive, most violating procedure available. It's almost poetic in its cruelty—the man who was made to look foolish uses institutional power to make someone else vulnerable. The power dynamics here aren't just about military rank; they're about who gets to define reality in any given moment.
I am dropping it and creating a new one. Named Void Tyrant
When I learnt the shanaya is trying her hand at writing a webnovel, I couldn't help but try it out. I mean, she usually writes small 50 to 60 page books on her name with varying topics. I think this is her first try at writing a long content book and with fantasy elements. As an old fan of her books who found her randomly, I am a bit baised but I would absolutely recommend people to try the book atleast. I am sure it will be a breath of fresh air compared to the usual on this platform. Go girl! Keep writing.
Quít a different stories. I appreciate you to making more chapters. Very good quality farr from my friend novel. Keep continue brothers! I will watching how this novel could go farther
awesome book by this great author. Your books have inspired many and will continue to.This one is great just like the others, you can't regret reading it.
This book is a thrilling read with a refreshing and captivating main female lead. She keeps you hooked as she navigates the challenges of a post-apocalyptic world. The combination of her resilience and wit breathes new life into the story, making it a standout in the apocalypse genre.
Oh hi, I love the way you narrate. The first chapter immediately gave chills, so as the second chapter! I love your words, I mean terms that made me curious about its meaning. The sudden development of the characters are there and I love how those brothers tool care of each other. I'll probably read more. ♥️
The writing is smooth, with good emotional depth, though some parts could be more refined. A slow-burn romance that gradually explores character relationships and emotions. The main characters are well-developed, but some side characters need more depth. The college setting is realistic but could use more immersive details.A heartfelt BL romance with strong emotional moments. Worth checking out for fans of slow-burn relationships!
Can we get some updates or is the novel being dropped?
Very Interesting start. I love the author's approach toward cliffhangers. Also, did I mention I love systems, though I don't write them myself. This has a unique approach to the genre, Which I find refreshing. Definitely recommended.
I really like the story but update is slow
Pretty interesting so far. Keep up the good work!
