to start this off properly I have to preface this with I haven't read this book yet I just wanted to say something to the author.

you said roughly that the mc will start off weak and not to expect him to power level, i'm fine with that as long as his abilities are either interesting and or well explored.

a example of this is the dao of magic it takes a already interesting and IMO ability/power cultivation and explores it rather thoroughly.
the reason this is relavent is because "to me at least" this is one of the major draws to a op fan fiction almost instant access to cool abilities/powers to explore.
this acts as a really good hook to get people to stay and continue reading especially on fan fic sites,
because you most probably won't find people who care about the story or character development as long as the mc doesn't make them want to throw up in repulsion.

ps sorry if this comes out as a big block of text I wrote this on my phone I tried to make it not one but I can only hope it worked.

in my opinion i believe that this is an awesome story. im currently on chapter 130 and i cant see why the ratings is on 3.8. i mean sure the grammar isnt the best but its not like you have to turn your brain off to read it. the thing it lacks most is the the commas. sometimes its pretty hard to read when theres no seperation and i had to peice some if the words tigether in my mind. anyway im only on chapter 130 and havent read the whole thing hence i cant say anything else other than how its going pretty good so far.

THERE ARE SOME SPOILERS.

Nothing major just about how the mc acts and some reasons explaining the points of why I am wanting to drop. (Hopefully the author can clear some of it up?)

The two major problems for me that stand out above everything else, that is making me want to drop are, When does he stop becoming a slave to his "uncle"? I just cbf to waste any more time on this if doesn't stop soon. I mean he should already have his doubts about him already.

From all his supposed intelligence the mc was shown to have during the earlier chapters, it's baffling how he doesn't have some doubts. His town was supposedly killed by beasts but he is magically the only one still alive? He doesn't remember anything but when he does or tries to it is painful?

He should have had his doubts in his "uncle" considering these facts but still believe in him considering all the time they spent together. However, it should have become frighteningly clear that something is wrong after speaking to Lan.

Let's not forget what he called the uncle and even hinted at why. But the most important thing is he learnt about the soul/mental technique. He can make someone kill themselves, take their memories etc. This should have made it glaringly obvious and confirmed his doubts about something about his uncle is wrong. He should know that if he can do it, what is stopping an even stronger person doing it to him? Or is he so fcking arrogant to ignore this?

He should have realised that his supposed memory loss is because of a soul/mental technique. Then adding on all the other clues he has been given then he should rly be starting to doubt his "uncle" and start realising some of the truth...

However, it's like let's just ignore all that and keep the mc as a dog/slave/pet of the uncle. Make the mc seeth with rage everyone says something to discredit his master and be a good little pet and make him proud...

I honestly can't stand it and rly want the author to just get on with it. The whole memory, adding on with all these clues should have acc lead to something.

Another thing is the whole rage thing... I liked his other personality better. Where he didn't care about what others thought. Ignored them and only went after people who are directly after him. Now lately it's just been the mc acting like a fcking madman for no reason.

I'm guessing it's because of the scripture or his special body that is giving him the rage. It was mentioned it was half the rage and the other half was him the calm side so maybe he has a beast side?

However, how long does this last, when or does he reach a balance? I don't want to read about a psychopath madman that just wants to kill everything... compared to his first personality its a difference between night and day.

I dunno just cbf to read about an mc losing control constantly going on a rampage every time he fights... plus it always starts or ends with the mc always smiling EVERY SINGLE TIME. Like we get it he is crazy. Do you have to mention the smile that everyone notices but him every time he fights or about to battle??

But yeah, prefer the mc having some intelligence like it was made out he had but in reality, he doesn't...

Hi, have the following comments and hence dropping it as it is different than what I initially thought.

1. The MC is shown has smart and cautious character, but he is anything but that. In fact many times, he just acts like a madman and then tries to justify the action through some reasoning. Maybe the author intends it to be this way, but this is not my cup of tea. For instance, he goes way back to the capital to save his friend from people with too high cultivation, when he could have intercepted and saved him whilst he was escorted to the capital. And in the end, the friend dies. .

2. The MC is shown to be smart, learned and talented with amazing comprehension. But when he wants to unlock a storage ring which is usually through sense/qi/blood, he goes to a competitor and owes him a favour for telling him to use blood to open the ring.

3. The brotherhood of the MC and dog is very forced. Usually the development of such bond between the characters should be smooth and felt by the readers, but here the author just keeps on harping about friendship every other paragraph for many chapters to come.

First of all the picture is misleading...he is not an archer, he's a martial artist. The naming sense is terrible, and there are a lot of inconsistencies like one moment the enemy is a 2nd class martial master then at the next chapter he's become a 1st class. I mean come on. It's so confusing that I got tired oF it so I just skimmed thru a lot. Full of Chinese cliche. The mc is ruthless but he's always underestimated even if everybody knows that he's op just for the sake of bullshit. It's good if you're just starting to read novels. Whats with the Chinese always 'splitting',burning,defying heaven? If the heavens could just reply back it would say 'you Chinese fcks better get circumsised first before talking about splitting me.

I really loved this book but the ending was not satisfying at all. I absolutely HATE how it ended. You left no room for redemption at all. I am devastated how it ended. I kept holding out hope for real forgiveness and a chance for him to redeem himself but I was so let down I want to cry.

I don't know where to begin, disappointed so much potential but the Author just didn't care much I mean why give the mc so much talent if his not going to used it, almost all increased of strength is because of external help either he use pills or magical powders I won't mind if he use it one or two times but everysingle time why does he even have a heavenly spiritual root and a supreme physique for and let's not forget how dumb the mc is, I'll just stop here  caused it's just a wasted potential.

It's a well-written story, and the main characters are satisfactorily developed, however, the number of chapters seems to be unsatisfactory for the author to be able to extract the full potential of what has been presented so far (until chapter 40, which is where I left off) .

There are also some uncomfortable little points to read, but hard to imagine, like the fact that the protagonist has been a virgin for 100,000 years, or simply the age of the characters (the youngest so far is 400 years old), the protagonist is 100,000 and his wife 200.00... I can only imagine an elderly couple, even if they look young.

In the end the story is good, the negative points are small and don't interfere with the experience, I just wish it was a story with a bigger development (and with more chapters!), but anyway I'll keep reading until the end, until now I recommend it!

Honestly I don't know why I'm still reading this novel. It's frustrating. It's definitely a generic novel that you can find anywhere. A handsome MC that has no talent but manages to turn that around with heaven defying luck. What's frustrating is the MC's attitude towards others. He's always being so generous and giving favors away to people that he barely knows or has absolutely no connection to. Seriously, this idiot gets into fights with powerful enemies all because he can't leave these shameless morons alone? He forces himself into a lot of situations where the conflict could easily be avoided if he just ignored it. And why does he keep blushing when it comes to girls? He's able to slaughter left and right but when it comes to a little teasing he turns into a shy boy? Bah! Whether it's beautiful girls that are in trouble or shameless geezers and young masters trying to curry favor with him, I wish the MC would just grow a pair of... err a backbone... yeah, a backbone, and turn everyone away so he can focus on his cultivation and goals rather than getting sidetracked.

Enjoyable story so far. I like the mc and how confident he is. It's very satisfying to read about the battles he's engaged in.  I am excited to see what happens next.

If I was an author this would look like a book that i would write. The story is good but the writing needs a little bit more attention, I think u were in a too much hurry to release it or got lost in thinking about the story that u didn't spent much time on the writing, I'm sure you can correct it and make it more comfortable for more people to read in the future if u can review the previous chapters and correct it. Overall this book is good and I hope that in the future u can keep up with the updates. Sincerely reader
