Alternate synopsis: "I admired the full moon atop Forbidden City and drank wine at Dongting.Wanderer of Jianghu who does not know my fame, a flying sword can behead with ease."Oh, I butchered the poem, man I suck!Anyway, this is the kind of novel that is really popular in China, but whose popularity here depends upon the translator. The novel is rooted in Chinese myths and legends, and unfortunately most of the novels here with that have a subpar translation. The MC is really intelligent from what I've heard. The novel is certainly a great work, but if the translator doesn't spruce up, we'll get a butchered version. That would be a disservice to the author of this fine work. Something mediocre with a good translation would be better than this fine novel getting a bad TL.By the way, the setting for this novel is around the same as Seeking the Flying Sword Path. If the two translators could collaborate then it would be really great.
