Kind of expected more of LoHP’s author because since this novel’s MC is basically Zhang Xuan but worse. The novel feels like its going to be a cycle of cliche and repetitiveness.

Don't even bother reading, this is the 3rd novel from the author since LOHP ended, and the author seems to have lost all creativity.
The novel is just boring overall and tries to copy the success of LOHP, making it complete garbage.
The author last 2 novels have been finished at around chapter 300 because of lack of success, and it seems like it will be the same for this.
This book is right now around rank 250 in Qidian, obviously a failure for a Platinum Writer who gets a special contract, so we can expect it to end soon be it because Qidian considers it unprofitable or the author starts looking for a new money-making machine.

I am uncertain how to rate this novel.
On one hand it has quite a few interesting characters, a few interesting concepts and is written in a very entertaining way.
On the other hand there are quite a few logical errors, which are necessary for the plot, but could potentially lead to problems and inconsistencies later on.

20 Chapters are not enough to judge this book.

In general this is a novel in which the transmigrator has reach a very high level, but is totally unaware of this fact because he lacks the common sense and basic understanding of the Cultivation world.
The MC is so OP that his 3 common animal pets are already the strongest around, but they do not know it either because they have no inheritance or bloodline of any kind. It is basically a feed back loop of 4 fools, strengthening each others misconceptions.

All in all, a fun read with potential, but not enough to justify spending money so far.

Ok, I know that may some people won’t agree with me. However, after reading the whole 40 chapters the only way of how to describe this novel would be boring and slow. This is the misunderstanding-type novel, but the main problem here is that usually that types of novels are funny or at least interesting to read. However, this one is just boring. In the beginning the it was almost everything about the MC, but that changes about chapter 20 where the MC only makes 20% of the novel and the rest is only his “pets” talking. I wouldn’t have a problem if the pets were funny to read, but their plot or story are too fucking boring to the point it only feels like useless filler.  Not only that but even the parts with the MC are too boring to read too.

Typical Ignorant-Misunderstanding Cliche MC

MC accepted into a sect and practiced "sage skills" for 10 years, and didn't cultivate. After he finished studying for a decade, he found out that he couldn't use any manuals to cultivate shit.

Anyways every action from chopping wood to taking a piss if infused with heavenly dao BS which makes everyone think he's some OP low-profile person, when in fact he thinks that he has to act like a mysterious senior to save his sect.

I've seen around a dozen of these types of novels, they're funny for a while before becoming quickly stale. Let's hope it's not like that this time.

Anyways so far it's just the MC trying to find a technique that lets him cultivate, and his demon pets that gained sentience by listening him play music causing regular cliches, making everyone think he's op, when in reality he's doing some dao bs.

Big shot in cultivation had a name change.

seriously that is my review. It's a copy.
A complete copy. Only difference is the context in which he is involved.

A review earlier mentioned a good point.

This book will have not weight, not a moment that matters just child like gag comedy throughout. So if you have ever heard the same joke, told by the same person, for days in row and still laughed every time. This is the book for you!

I hope this mc isn't going to be dense like zhang xuan of LoHP, i wouldn't want to experience that torturous journey again.

Let's just say I'm disappointed. If you want to read a story that all about misunderstandings then this is your cup of tea. If you've read ' I'm actually a cultivation bigshot ' then this is basically the same thing. Mc is ignorant and slightly on the dumb side besides the stuff he has "mastered." I usually don't write my reviews on these because of how little you actually get to know the story in 40 chapters but I can already see where it's going. If you want to read a story that isnt serious and maybe when you're bored and want a little comedy then I guess this will do. Hoped the author would've done better but I had me expectations a little high.

I have a question. I remember that a ling time ago in the trial read, there was a book in which the MC had a book where he could write down answers and they would become correct. Does anyone remember its name.

Stupid and naive mc. Mc cultivated languages music and some skills for a decade and became saint level in those skills but cant cultivate so he just has to pretend to be a bigshot i have read enough of this to know where this would be going. It will be funny at first but then die to repeated misunderstanding it will just get boring. My disapointment is greater because i expected more from author of 'library of heavens path'.
