The moment she closed the book, almost reflexively, she felt a presence behind her. A slight shiver ran down her spine, a discomfort she couldn't explain. She slowly turned around, her eyes locking onto a figure standing at the entrance of the bookstore. A man, tall, with a piercing gaze, dressed in a dark suit that contrasted with the intimate atmosphere of the place.
