I had left a comment on one of this novels chapters. It was a guess or theory about what could happen in the future. Then, an year later there was a message enabling spoiler alert on my comment. Dude, I literally spoiled myself while stacking up. That's really crazy and kind of sad lmao.

Theres a beauty in difference. The concept of reincarnating to 1920 countrl leader is new so it has bonus beauty for that but except that everything is.. not that good. Maybe grammar iz good idk im nıt english so cant tell anything about that but eşceht that iverltnig is not really good. I wouldnt reccomend this to anyone if it were not a different concept i wouldnt revcomerd it.
Tldr:concept is unique but potential that could come with the concept is wasted, leaving us with a unique and bad novel

I get where youre coming from, and I even think that parts of your critique are valid. Still, I think the overall Critique is too harsh. Imo, this novel is really great, ofc the depth in some points isnt mindblowing, but the way the author uses a light-hearted concept for characters and character interaction makes me grin or laugh a lot and there are even some really epic moments. Also the pacing or rather the direction of thought for the story is almost always relatable and makes it easy to follow the story without getting less invested.

But since you said you are rather tired of the trope usage and say, that the novel is mid, im rather curious: which novel would you recommend then?

Harsh? I beg to differ. The tone... perhaps, but the points are true. I strictly emphasized the lack of layers in the characterization, which is true, since, I don't know if you'll get this but I try to visualize the "blueprint" or "framework" of the character if that makes sense.

And some characters are illustrated in a way that follows a very common structure among various works. From their mentality, to dialogue and speech patterns, hence I deemed "generic".

And yes I am well aware the use of archetypes in literature is necessary to create recognizable and relatable characters. Fundamental, might I add. But adding extra layers could go a long way.

Laughs and grins? Well, I'm glad it worked for you, but that's not enough for me. I am fine with the light-hearted moments but subjectively, it registers to me as filler.

My point is, this novel is lacking, but not unreadable. If that were the case, I would've labeled it as "brainrot". Its content passable but not enough imo.

A very fun read imo. If you're looking for something that isn't overly complicated and still very enjoyable then this is it. below are the main points that I liked:

- MC with amazing character development
- Great side characters with their own character development
- Some really great and intense fights, though there are instances of deus ex machina
- Wholesome moments
- The comedy is top tier. It starts out ok in that department but as his relationships grow, the comedy becomes better and better - MC does not focus on his own growth but helps his friends grow alongside him, which is a major part of the novel
- The story is definitely cliche but it's well done and not annoying at all in my opinion. A very fun and enjoyable read

Just to be brutally honest... it's an ok novel.

No wow factor, no new flavor, nothing. It's giving "generic". It depends whether you find "generic" a (+) or (-). In some ways it is somewhat predictable, from the plot to the characters (their personalities).

Characterization could use more work to make the characters feel more "real" (subjectively speaking). Perhaps I'm just tired with the tropes used in this novel given how common these elements are to the point that I must say it's overused. I can't tolerate some illogical aspects (narrative wise).

Author needs further development in the aspect of conceptualization, so as to avoid resorting to incorporating cliché. I need more layers to the plot, characters, and overall elements of the narrative. This may have potential, but serious work needs to be done.

To summarize, I find this novel no different than the tens of the same genre and plot... average. It's not bad but it is definitely lacking in some key aspects.

Just saying.
