Ilya, a rising star in South Korea’s entertainment industry, is adored by millions for his perfect looks and charm. But beneath the glitz and glamour lies a broken soul. Haunted by dreams of death and suffocating under the weight of fabricated lies crafted by his agency, Ilya struggles with severe insomnia, suicidal thoughts, and an unshakable sense of emptiness.
During an outdoor shoot at a secluded jungle location, Ilya encounters a mysterious, wild man who behaves more like an animal than a human. Drawn to the stranger’s raw strength and innocence, Ilya impulsively decides to take him in, naming him Nero. What begins as a strange companionship soon blossoms into something deeper as Nero becomes Ilya’s anchor, protecting him from a world rife with betrayal, greed, and unseen dangers.
But Nero is no ordinary man. Supernatural forces surround him, and as strange, otherworldly occurrences escalate, Ilya is forced to confront a shocking truth: Nero is not human but a demon born from darkness.
As their bond deepens, secrets of their shared past life resurface, revealing a promise made centuries ago—a promise that defies death and time itself. However, the path to love and redemption is fraught with peril, as the strongest devil, who once tore them apart, returns to claim what he desires most: Ilya.
In a world where trust is fragile and love comes at a cost, will Ilya accept Nero for who he truly is? Can they overcome the shadows of their past to rewrite their fate?
Stranger That I Know: The Forgotten Promise is a supernatural BL romance that weaves love, mystery, and reincarnation into a story of rediscovery and redemption.

Great story that even those who dont know baseball can read? perfect english, which is a bonus compared to other novels out there. Good charachter building and moderate pace of the story with emphasis on emotions rather than the usual level up and getting stronger theme of many other novels. A great change which i hope many more will appreciate? No bad feedback to give to you author, I love it all??

just like his other stories this one is nicely done as well. oddly though the more I read of this story the more I find self not really caring about the mc and the story itself. I am really interested in the other side, the people with the systems. is there any chance we could get a story from their side or maybe a new story. a story with systems with glyphs on people. idk this story is nicely done but for some reason does not hold my attention like your other stories have.

Doesn’t really make sense. You’re using gender wrong in this context. A second gene of some kind would make more sense.

Early chapters are good but later ones started to taper off and what you read on the earlier chapters that got you interested starts to go down the drain. Character development was good but it got annoying and repetitive in later chapters. Some later chapters starting from 50 seemed to be forced, I don't know if it is due to some changes but it got dull later on too.
