The reading was peaceful, albeit a bit lengthy, but engaging. Each character had a distinct personality, which made me eager to learn more about them and their contented lives. The author deserves praise for handling the challenge of重生和主角只有15岁的情节, effectively addressing the significant age gap through thoughtful development and tactful descriptions. The author avoided making the story premature or overly sexualized, which was commendable. When the romantic elements finally came into play, the narrative巧妙地 bridged the gap, and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

I am eagerly anticipating this novel! Although there hasn't been any direct interaction between the main characters thus far, the historical backdrop appears to be thoroughly researched and of exceptional quality.

This is my second read of this, and I must admit that it's quite rare for me to revisit a book unless I find it truly captivating. Surprisingly, this one met my expectations. The characters maintain their original traits from their previous lives, but they've evolved positively due to the improved main lead (ML). Unlike many重生故事里的蝴蝶效应, which drastically alter characters, this one keeps their growth grounded and logical.

The main character's monetization-driven nature might seem overpowered, but it's fitting for this genre where significant change is expected. What I appreciate is that the MC doesn't force the ML into a relationship from the start, allowing him to grow independently. Their dynamic, despite the MC's initial inferiority complex, is quite charming as the ML reassures and supports him.

The only downside, perhaps, lies in the portrayal of villains. The obnoxious stepsister sticks around throughout the story, which feels a bit persistent compared to other revenge重生故事. The other villains appear only when necessary and disappear once their purpose is served. My critique might be slightly dramatic, influenced by other narratives.

It's an excellent read! I appreciate the characters; they're relatable as they aren't perfect, just ordinary individuals striving for a better life. The story begins with the main character (MC) traveling back in time, which leads to the male lead (ML) recalling their previous life where they were rejected due to MC's concern for his well-being. However, their love eventually wins, and they reunite. While the plot is heartwarming, there are moments of boredom due to excessive focus on business. The relationship between the characters is endearing, and there are no misunderstandings.

What I particularly enjoy is the exploration of their first lives and how they work towards making improvements, ultimately resulting in a happier outcome without any tragic endings. Everyone gets a satisfying conclusion, which is a delightful touch.

The story received a rating of 3.5 stars, but it could have been a solid 4 if it were shorter. Despite not typically enjoying stories set in the past, I decided to give it a try due to positive reviews. Surprisingly, I found it better than anticipated, but it's more of a one-time read for me.

The main characters, Shi Zhen and Guan Baiyu, share equal focus. The narrative alternates between their perspectives, with the first half focusing on SZ and the second on GB. Both characters are likable and well-developed.

The family dynamics are more grounded, avoiding overly dramatic plots. There's a minor conflict with one of the step-sisters, but it resolves with her marriage and minimal impact on the rest.

The plot includes unexpected twists, such as ML discovering his true identity as a kidnapped baby, but I personally didn't find that storyline particularly engaging. The romance, which constitutes only about 20% of the 183 chapters, begins quite late, around Chapter 134.

Their relationship is heartwarming and portrayed as balanced, leaving me wanting more of their interactions. In the past life, their misunderstandings were due to lack of communication and insecurity.

The business aspects of the story felt drawn-out, causing me to nearly drop it at Chapter 68. However, my curiosity about the setting – China during the 1990s to early 2000s – kept me engaged. I learned about rural life and even discovered an amusing fact about internet censorship in China during that era.

While the main story consists of 183 chapters, there are additional content. Translating the entire novel was unexpectedly manageable, though a few parts were confusing, possibly due to translation errors.

One instance mentioned was a misunderstanding about a character's health, which might have been misinterpreted in translation, as the character ultimately dies from a car accident instead of cancer.

In summary, while the story had its strengths, like relatable characters and cultural insights, the lengthy business sequences and occasional translation issues made it a mixed experience for me.

The writing is excellent, featuring well-developed characters and a beautifully portrayed relationship between Shi Zhen and Guan Baiyu. Their growth is gradual and authentic, without resorting to overly dramatic moments, which makes for a pleasant and refreshing read. Initially, the financial progression might seem implausible, but it fits the narrative context. While I cannot comment on the depth of character development or the intricacy of the setting, the story remains engaging and accessible, with supporting characters that are likable and well-conceived, such as the amusing and penny-pinching Shi Xingchao.

The portrayal of the step-family dynamics is a strong point, as most members are caring towards the main characters, with only one being deceitful. Both leads exhibit resilience and kindness towards their families, improving their lives compared to their previous existence. The portrayal of Feng Meiyun, MC's stepmother, evokes strong emotions through her gratitude and happiness, leaving a positive impression.

Additionally, the side stories, especially the one involving Shi Xingchao's son, are delightful. The translation, though not perfect, is clear and promising, making it worth saving for future reading. In conclusion, this is a highly recommended novel with its strong storytelling and well-rounded characters, providing a satisfying read.

This narrative lacks extravagant elements like financial wizards, speculative fervor, or serendipitous windfalls. It's an honest portrayal of early中国经济氛围, focusing on authenticity.

The protagonist, Gong, was once successful but lost love in his past life. With no privileged background, he started from scratch, working as a laborer before establishing his first stall. There's no emphasis on stockpiling or real estate speculation; he's a hands-on builder, dealing in small items and services, from construction work to street-side vendors, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit. Though he was somewhat unscrupulous in his former life, the details were minimal, making it less apparent.

In this life, he's diligent, cautious, and fair, avoiding monopolizing information or taking advantage of others. That's commendable.

The female lead, ML, had a difficult childhood in both lives. However, Gong's care transforms her trajectory in this life. She achieves greater success than Gong, driven by her own efforts. She's hardworking, disciplined, cunning, and fiercely independent, standing up for herself after avenging a past bully with support.

Their relationship begins with Gong looking out for ML, steering clear of typical clichés. It's a balanced and supportive bond, where ML eventually surpasses Gong in wealth, but they enjoy their lives together, not solely seeking riches.

Their family dynamic is warm and well-structured, with Gong taking care of every detail, ensuring their health and independence. He even supplements their diet for the elderly, fostering a sense of self-reliance.

The author showcases exceptional storytelling prowess, crafting vivid descriptions and intricate plotlines without overwhelming tension. Small touches, like Gong's observation about ML's rabbit farming for sustenance and pelt sales, emphasize his entrepreneurial traits.

The pacing is deliberate, introducing occasional conflicts and suspense to maintain reader engagement without becoming too predictable.

One notable scene: during the family's New Year's trip home, ML's biological father secretly investigates Gong and ML's connection, adding intrigue to the story.

Overall, the author's attention to detail and balance between character development and plot progression make for an engaging and authentic reading experience.
